🇷🇸 HERstory continues in Serbia! 🎨✨

Our journey has just moved forward to Niš, Serbia, where another wall became a canvas for a story worth remembering. 💜

This chapter put the spotlight on Vera Jašarević, whose story and legacy were brought into the public space through a new mural created during the "Come to Amfi Festival" 🎨👩

Young people, artists and partners from five European countries came together for workshops, cultural exchange and creative collaboration, once again using art as a powerful tool to make women's stories more visible. 🌍✨

With every destination, HERstory reminds us that the women who helped shape our communities deserve a visible place in the stories we tell today.

Because some stories deserve more than to be remembered — they deserve to be seen. 💜

✨Beyond Borders from Italy 🇮🇹, together with Club for Youth Empowerment 018 from Serbia 🇷🇸, Dream Colours from the Czech Republic 🇨🇿, Obojena Klapa from Bosnia and Herzegovina 🇧🇦, and Danish Youth Team from Denmark 🇩🇰 implement the project “HERstory” by utilizing creative methods and art, specifically murals in raising awareness and visibility of significant female figures, thus promoting the importance of gender equality in partner countries. 🎯 Overall aim: To increase visibility of women through art. Specific objectives: 1️⃣ To develop tools for the promotion of historical female figures coming from participating countries in the form of a collection; 2️⃣ To develop a virtual platform for the promotion of female figures coming from participating countries; 3️⃣ To raise awareness about important female figures coming from 5 countries through artistic expression – murals; 4️⃣ To network mural artists on the European level. 🎨 This project offers concrete tools and methods to contribute to raising awareness and greater visibility of women who shaped societies that we know today. 📅 The project is implemented in Italy, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic and Denmark in the period 01.11.2024 to 31.10.2026 and is co-financed by the EU 🇪🇺

🇪🇺✨ Celebrating EU Youth Day in Denmark! 🇩🇰

Earlier this month we celebrated the energy, creativity, ideas and voices of young people across Europe! 💙

Under the project, and in partnership with The Nordic Crew , we brought young people together in Denmark for a special activity focused on connection, participation, learning and having fun together. 🙌🌍

EU Youth Day is a great reminder that young people are not only the future of Europe — they are actively shaping its present.

Through initiatives like Youth Zone, we aim to promote the EU actions and create more spaces where young people can meet, exchange ideas, express themselves, build new connections and become more aware of the EU opportunities they have 💬🤝🌱

“Youth Zone” is the project implemented by Hate Fighters Network through 2-year framework partnership agreements to support Civil Society Cooperation in the field of Youth, Erasmus + in the period 01.01.2026 – 31.12.2027. Planned activities for the 2026 are structured around four thematic priorities: Human Rights and Inclusion; Safety and Well-being; Media and Digital Literacy; Active Youth Participation; and 2 transversal initiatives focused on EU programme promotion and volunteering. Network-level activities such as the Youth Zone Mentorship Programme, the annual planning meeting and the pilot volunteer exchange at the “Come to Amfi” festival will further strengthen cooperation, peer learning and capacity development within the network.
Activities will be organized through Hate Fighters Network in 12 European countries in the period of 12 months – 01/01/2026 to 31/12/2026. “Youth Zone” project is co-funded by the European Union

🇵🇹 Greetings from Portugal! 🌿✨

From 18–27 May, our youngsters took part in the Erasmus+ youth exchange “Inner Revolution” in Aldeia, Portugal — an inspiring journey focused on health, well-being and personal growth. 💚

Throughout the project, we explored different dimensions of well-being through interactive activities, practical workshops and meaningful group discussions. Working alongside young people from different countries, cultures and backgrounds gave us the opportunity to exchange experiences, challenge our perspectives and reflect on our own habits and lifestyles. 🌍🤝

One of the project’s main outcomes was a practical health and well-being guide, created together in international teams. It brings together simple steps, useful tools and ideas that can be applied in everyday life — helping us turn what we learned into real action. 📖💡

But Erasmus+ is never only about workshops and learning. It is also about the people we meet along the way. ❤️ We built new friendships, shared countless laughs and meaningful conversations, and created memories that will stay with us long after the project.

🇩🇰 Our team returned home with new knowledge, fresh perspectives, positive energy and plenty of motivation to continue our own “inner revolution.” 🌱

Today, on International Youth Day, we’re putting the spotlight on something every young person should know more about - the opportunities available to them across Europe 🇪🇺

From youth exchanges and DiscoverEU to studying, volunteering, sport and international learning experiences, there are many ways to step outside your everyday routine, meet new people and build skills along the way 🤩

That’s also why, within the Youth Zone project, we created the EU Actions for Youth Booklet - to bring these opportunities together and make it easier to understand where your next experience could begin 🔥✈️

🇨🇾✨Learning, connecting and taking action in Cyprus 🏖️

This summer, our young people joined the Erasmus+ seminar “Gender Equality in Action – Youth United Against Domestic Violence”, hosted by Youth Dynamics 🇩🇰🤝🇨🇾

Together with young people from Poland and Cyprus, our youngsters explored important topics such as gender equality, stereotypes, respectful relationships and the prevention of gender-based violence, while exchanging perspectives, experiences and ideas across cultures.

Through learning, dialogue and international cooperation, the project empowered young people to become active agents for equality and positive change in their communities. 💜🌍

A big thanks to our reliable partners Youth Dynamics for hosting this amazing mobility 🇪🇺💫

Because equality starts with awareness — and change starts with us. 💪💜

🎥✨ One city. One mural. Countless stories.

Sarajevo became the next chapter of the HERstory journey, where art met history and creativity sparked meaningful conversations. 🇧🇦🎨

Together with inspiring young people, artists, and partners from across Europe, we celebrated the stories that deserve to be seen, heard, and remembered. Every brushstroke brought us one step closer to making women's voices more visible through public art.

This is more than a mural—it's a movement. 💜🌍

🌍✨ From Denmark to Cyprus – learning to think critically in a digital world! 🇩🇰🇨🇾

Our amazing team recently took part in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange "Empowering Youth in the Fight Against Disinformation" in beautiful Cyprus. Together with young people from across Europe, they explored how to identify fake news, challenge misinformation, think critically, and become responsible digital citizens.

Beyond the workshops, the project was filled with intercultural evenings, inspiring discussions, teamwork, new friendships, and unforgettable memories by the Mediterranean Sea. 💙

We're proud to see our young participants return home with new skills, fresh perspectives, and an even stronger motivation to create a more informed and connected Europe. 🇪🇺
