🌿 Be Yourself. Grow. Connect. Inspire. 🌿

Our youth workers recently took part in the Erasmus+ Training Course "Be Yourself: On the Way to Self-Discovery" hosted by NGO Genesis in the Czech Republic 🇨🇿

Over the course of an inspiring week, they explored topics such as:
✨ Self-awareness and personal growth
✨ Emotional resilience and mental wellbeing
✨ Authentic leadership and personal values
✨ Building meaningful relationships and stronger communities

Surrounded by nature and joined by participants from across Europe, they stepped away from the noise of everyday life to reconnect with themselves, exchange experiences, and discover new tools they can bring back to their local communities. 🌍💚

Youth work starts from within. By taking care of ourselves, understanding our values, and strengthening our emotional awareness, we become better equipped to support and inspire others. 💫

A huge thank you to the organizers and all participants for creating such a meaningful learning experience! 🙏

💻🌍 Democracy goes digital! 🌍💻

📍 From 1–5 June 2026, young people from across Europe gathered in Pińczów, Poland 🇵🇱 for the second international mobility of the "CivAct – Citizens in Action for Democratic Participation" project co-funded by the European Union under the CERV programme 🇪🇺

👥 25 participants from 🇷🇴 Romania, 🇵🇱 Poland, 🇩🇰 Denmark, 🇭🇷 Croatia, and 🇧🇬 Bulgaria came together to explore the role of digital citizenship in modern democracy.

💡 Throughout the training course, participants:
🔹 strengthened their media literacy and critical thinking skills
🔹 learned how to identify and challenge misinformation and hate speech
🔹 explored digital rights and e-democracy tools
🔹 discussed responsible online participation and civic engagement
🔹 exchanged experiences and good practices with peers from across Europe 🤝

🚀 In an increasingly digital world, active citizenship goes beyond the ballot box. By developing the skills to navigate online spaces responsibly and participate in democratic processes, young people are becoming stronger voices for positive change in their communities.

✨Beyond Borders from Italy 🇮🇹, together with Club for Youth Empowerment 018 from Serbia 🇷🇸, Dream Colours from the Czech Republic 🇨🇿, Obojena Klapa from Bosnia and Herzegovina 🇧🇦, and Danish Youth Team from Denmark 🇩🇰 implement the project “HERstory” by utilizing creative methods and art, specifically murals in raising awareness and visibility of significant female figures, thus promoting the importance of gender equality in partner countries. 🎯 Overall aim: To increase visibility of women through art. Specific objectives: 1️⃣ To develop tools for the promotion of historical female figures coming from participating countries in the form of a collection; 2️⃣ To develop a virtual platform for the promotion of female figures coming from participating countries; 3️⃣ To raise awareness about important female figures coming from 5 countries through artistic expression – murals; 4️⃣ To network mural artists on the European level. 🎨 This project offers concrete tools and methods to contribute to raising awareness and greater visibility of women who shaped societies that we know today. 📅 The project is implemented in Italy, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic and Denmark in the period 01.11.2024 to 31.10.2026 and is co-financed by the EU 🇪🇺

🎨✨ When youth, art, and history meet, walls begin to tell stories.

Creativity was flowing in Aarhus as we've just hosted a vibrant mural event under the project, co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union 🇪🇺

Dedicated to Sidsel Andersdatter, the event brought together artists, young people, and creators to paint, experiment, and turn public space into a living artwork 🎭

From a hands-on spray painting workshop to powerful artistic collaboration, participants explored street art, self-expression, and the stories that deserve to be seen and remembered 👩‍🎨

Because HERstory belongs not only in books — but also on walls. ✨🇩🇰

💁‍♂️ Connected to a lively Maria Montessori art festival, the event gathered artists and organisations from across Europe to celebrate women’s stories through bold public art, cultural exchange, and collaborative creativity.

Together, we discovered how murals can become powerful tools for education, empowerment, and social impact — creating not only artwork, but also unforgettable connections, inspiring dialogue, and lasting European cooperation. ✨
