Manitoba Mutts is a 100% foster based rescue, founded in 2011. MMDR Inc is a registered charity.

As well as looking for loving homes for our rescue "Mutts", we are also seeking foster homes, who will help with the transition process - from abandoned / neglected / relinquished lifestyles to forever second chance families. For intake please email [email protected]

🚨 URGENT FOSTER or ADOPTER NEEDED FOR JACKS 🚨

Jacks is a 4-year-old boy who urgently needs a new home by Sunday.

This happy guy's tail never stops wagging! He loves food, walks, naps, and spending time with his people—especially if there's room for him on the couch. Jacks is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and does well with adults and older children (12+).

Jacks would like a slow intro to any other dogs he may live with, (but no small dogs or cats), and a fenced yard is preferred. In return, you'll get a loyal companion with a big heart and plenty of love to give.

By fostering Jacks, you'll be helping him take an important step on his journey to becoming a cherished family member. Sometimes all a dog needs is a safe place, a little patience, and someone to believe in them while they wait for their forever home.

I’m a playful curious girl who loves to run and wrestle with my sister Olive.

I’m not fully housetrained. Being a young pup I use p*e pads overnight in the Xpen.

I love dogs and cats. I haven’t met any kids, but if they play nicely with me I would like them.

Some things I’m working on: sit for treats, stop eating gross things I find on the ground, stop chasing the cats.

I can provide hours of fun and excitement for the entire family! All I ask for in return is that you love me forever.

It's Super Trooper Tuesday with a fundraising update for our troop, starting with the photogenic, Cosmo.

Cosmo came into care limping and after seeing the board certified surgeon, it was determined that he would need a leg amputation. His amputation was successful as of last week and Cosmo is recuperating with his foster family.

Estimated costs: $4,692.77

Squeakums is a very talkative tabby that needed dental surgery!

Hi! I’m Squeakums, but my foster mom calls me Squeaker!

I’m an incredibly sweet girl who loves to chat. I use my litter box well and I am a fantastic eater - I’m not picky at all!

I’m good with other cats and don’t seem too scared of cat-savvy dogs. I can be nervous when I first meet you, but if you scratch me behind my ears I’ll be purring in no time!

Unfortunately, sweet little Lenny has been diagnosed with parvovirus. Parvo, is always an emergency. He is currently being treated by our lovely veterinarian friends and we are hoping that it was caught early for the best outcome!
