Splash Child Care Inc. Splash Child Care Inc. has 6 licensed, non-profit, charitable child care programs. At S.P.L.A.S.H. S.P.L.A.S.H. Child Care Inc. This is the reality of colonization.

Splash Child Care Inc., Splash Child Enrichment Centre, Splash Early Learning Centre&Urban Learning Centre, Splash Mino Pimatisiwin Centre, Splash Faraday SatelliteCentre Child Care INC., we strive to create and maintain a community that promotes personal growth, health, and safety. Our values reflect this belief and guide our actions and relationships with the children in our care, their families/caregivers, and co-workers. acknowledges that the land on which we gather is stolen land, the original inhabitants driven off, forced to relocate. Covenants were formed, in the languages of the colonizers, called treaties, but these were amended and broken by the colonizers as desired. This land knows sorrow. But this land also knows joy and hope. Hope that the future will not be like the past. And so with humility and respect we commit ourselves to the continuing promise of reconciliation, the reclamation of dignity, the restoration of just relationships. We are all Treaty People.

Orientation Day at Splash Mino Pimatisiwin! 🌿
On August 31, 2026, we welcomed our team for Orientation Day at Splash Mino Pimatisiwin! 💚 It was a wonderful opportunity to meet new colleagues, explore our environments, and prepare for this exciting new journey together.
Our day included a smudge and drum song, introductions with our leadership team, and learning sessions on customer service, Forest School, inclusion, and the dignified treatment and acceptance of children.
We also connected with our community partners, completed important paperwork, and spent time getting to know our environment teams and new spaces.
Most importantly, the day was about building connections, sharing knowledge, and preparing to create a welcoming, inclusive, and caring space for children and families.

Splash CC -Exploring Sand in Our Tuff Tray

A big thank you to Splash Enrichment Centre for donating sand for the CC children to explore!

After noticing their interest in mud, educators added sand, construction vehicles, and small containers to the tuff tray. The children enjoyed moving sand around, pretending to work on a construction site, making volcanoes and smiley faces, and practising writing their names in the sand.

It was wonderful to see their creativity and imagination shine through play🏜️

Splash Mino Pimatisiwin Children’s Centre- Ribbon Cutting Ceremony 🌀✂️

Every great beginning starts with one idea, one conversation, and one person willing to say yes. 🌿
From Giselle, Cam, and Silvano’s first conversation about transforming the old Balmoral Hotel into an early learning centre to the collaboration of the Splash Child Care Inc. Board of Directors, Andy, Andrea, Aliya from the Winnipeg Foundation, Lily Mallard, Architect Pedro Chagas and his team, Joe Bova, Giselle McDonald, Dan Edwards, builder Justin Bova and his team, every contribution helped bring this vision to life.
Together, they turned a dream into a welcoming home for children, families, and the community.
As we celebrate the opening of Splash Mino Pimatisiwin, we celebrate more than a new centre. We celebrate new beginnings, friendships, and educational journeys, one child at a time.
Thank you to everyone who believed in the vision and said yes. That is the power of one💜
