Are you the next Queen or Princess of the Furrow? Huron County is now looking for contestants for both Princess and Queen of the Furrow! 👑 🚜

This years plowing match is being held near Wingham on August 20-21, 2026.

Princess of the Furrow contestants must be between ages 12-17 and compete in a closed door interview and deliver an on stage 1-2 minute speech on Thursday August 20th.

Queen of the Furrow contestants must be between the ages 18-24 and compete in a closed door interview, deliver an onstage 2-3 minute speech, answer an impromptu question and plow a section of land on Friday August 21st, 2026. The winner will then go on to represent Huron County at the 2027 IPM in Lambton County.
