Seaforth Co-operative Children's Centre SCCC offers childcare programs that are consistent with the Ministry of Education’s policies and pedagogy. We offer quality childcare from ages 0-12years.

Seaforth Co-operative Children’s Centre’s goal is to provide a childcare program that embraces our knowledge that children are competent, capable, and curious learners who are rich in potential. Our core values are Play, Programming, Professionalism, and Partnership. Our Educators create programming in line with the How Does Learning Happen Pedagogy, the foundational ELECT document, and the Think,

Feel, Act articles and videos, when creating and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum in our classrooms. We believe in the four foundations of the How Does Learning Happen? Pedagogy: Belonging, Well-being, Engagement, and Expression. Our program statement will reflect how we will embrace the four foundations for learning as well as our own core values to support children and families in our childcare and outreach programs. The mission of Seaforth Co-operative Children’s Centre is to serve parents through quality childcare in the belief that a good start in the formative years of childhood provides children with a lasting foundation for success throughout their lives.

Join us for our little goblin walk October 26th, from 2:00 pm to 4:00pm. This spooky event will be held at Seaforth Co- Operative Children’s Centre in the Preschool yard. There will be lots of spooky activities, such as a potion station, tattoos, snacks, carve/ paint your own pumpkin plus lots more. Tickets are $5 per child and all proceeds go right back into our programs here at SCCC. Tickets can be purchased at the centre by cash only. After you have carved your pumpkin, you can walk up to The Great Pumpkin Trail up at the Seaforth Agricultural Society and put your pumpkin up for display.
