For all of our fans, the Harmony Kings wish a very Merry Christmas and we have two special treats, starting with a clipping 'hot off the presses' from today's issue of the Goderich Sun newspaper featuring staff writer Pam Clayfield. We thank them for permission to feature their report here on our page.

We also have a video and that was hard to pick just one, but I've chosen "Harmony" as recorded at our Christmas Show. It is quite a feat to get four choruses operating out of four cities and conducted each by their own Directors, to learn one song, learn it well and then perform it En Masse. Singing in the Barbershop Style does it.

As a sidebar, the Kings wish to recognize three men, Paul, Allan and Chris, who heard our music at a previous concert and accepted our chorus invitation to join us for the runup to our Christmas Show. They faithfully rehearsed with us and then performed with us for the first time on these very risers. The best comment of the day came from one of these new guest singers when he remarked on the power of the final note in a song in the Massed Choir and his question ... "so this is what it's all about". We both smiled in reflection of that thrilling moment of joy.

The Harmony Kings would like to thank our fellow choruses for making this a great beginning to Christmas 2025. We thank the singers of London's Men of Accord, Woodstock's Undercover Mix, and Strathroy's A Capella Connection for joining our Harmony Kings in a fundraising effort for the Food Bank of Seaforth and Area. We also thank the congregation of Northside United Church for again lending us their magnificent sanctuary - already decorated for the season, for our concert. Lastly, we thank those brave music lovers who ventured out on a wintery Sunday to help our charitable effort and for your support of our Barbershop art-form with warm smiles and applause. Merry Christmas and enjoy the Kings singing The Secret of Christmas.

Help wanted ... we have our risers set for tomorrow's Christmas Concert. We have singers and choruses coming from London, Strathroy, Woodstock, Sarnia and of course our own members from Seaforth. You won't want to miss the finale set of songs where we fill these risers to overflowing with song. Help us fill this church to overflowing with fans of great music and bring a generous heart ❤️ as 100% of our collection will flow to the Food Bank here in Seaforth.

Mark your calendar. Our next show is coming up on Nov. 30. Local barbershop choruses and quartets will be participating along with the Harmony Kings, singing Christmas music with all proceeds going to the Seaforth Food Bank

A group of Harmony Kings attended the Blyth Steam Threshers Reunion on Saturday and stopped in various locations to entertain the visitors with a few barbershop tunes. We also tried to encourage singers to join us and attend our Fall Show on Sept. 28
