This evening, British Columbia Ambassador Madyson attended a farewell celebration for West Kelowna Ambassadors Abigayle and Roey.

Due to the cancellation of this weekend’s West Kelowna Gala, the girls will no longer be present to pass down their titles at the rescheduled gala. The West Kelowna Youth Ambassadors Program hosted a special send-off to celebrate their reigns.

Madyson was honoured to be invited, especially as she had the privilege of mentoring both Abigayle and Roey during her time as a West Kelowna Ambassador. She is incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and was honoured to celebrate their reigns this evening.

On August 8th British Columbia Ambassador Lara Court of Cowichan Lake attended the Youbou Regatta with the 2026 Cowichan Lake Ambassador Team. She began her day at the pancake breakfast, waved her way through parade, and did crafts at Arbutus Park with young event attendees.

Lara would like to extend her appreciation to the Youbou fire fighters, the Youbou Community Association, and the Cowichan Valley Regional District for making this event possible.

Today Sunday August 9th, British Columbia Ambassador Madyson and her mom gathered essential supplies to donate to one of the evacuation centres in West Kelowna, supporting those affected by the ongoing wildfire situation in the Okanagan.

During times like these, coming together as a community and supporting one another is what matters most. Madyson would like to thank all Firefighters, ESS teams, Salvation Army, COFB, and every single person who was dropping donations off, we are stronger together.

On Friday August 7th, British Columbia Ambassadors Lauren and Madyson had the pleasure of attending the Miss Penticton Crowning at PeachFest in Penticton.

Congratulations to the newly crowned Miss Penticton Lauren Taylor and Penticton Princess Emaya Vega-Baric. The British Columbia Ambassadors wish them both an incredible year ahead and look forward to seeing all they accomplish.

The Ambassadors would also like to congratulate the outgoing team, Miss Penticton Chanelle Stein and Princess Maia Dodd, and thank them for their dedication and service throughout their reign.

Lauren and Madyson had a wonderful time attending PeachFest and are incredibly grateful to the City of Penticton and the PeachFest organizers for their warm hospitality and swift response given the ongoing situation in the surrounding area.

They are especially thankful that all visiting royalty north of Penticton were able to return home safely. Their thoughts remain with everyone affected by the situation in Summerland.

Thank you to Penticton and PeachFest for welcoming the British Columbia Ambassadors and allowing them to be part of such a special evening.

Last weekend, British Columbia Ambassador Lara Court of Cowichan Lake had the opportunity to attend the White Rock Ambassador Program Gala, and the Torchlight Parade in White Rock.

Lara would first like to congratulate the 2026 candidates on completing their candidacy and their transition into becoming a part of the 2026 White Rock Ambassador Team.

Lara would also like to congratulate the outgoing White Rock Ambassador Team. You have all represented your community with immense dedication and enthusiasm. Lara would like to wish you all the best in your future endeavours.

On Friday July 17th, British Columbia Ambassador’s Rannde, Jenae and Isabel had a wonderful time attending the Miss Kelowna Lady of the Lake Gala Evening. They enjoyed hearing the candidates speeches and congratulate them all on a job well done.

The girls would like to extend a warm welcome to the newly crowned Ambassador Team. They know Lady in Waiting(s) Arianna and Jocelyn, Kelowna’s Princess Amelie, and Miss Kelowna Lady of the Lake Isabelle will serve as wonderful Ambassador’s for the upcoming year.

The team also sends their best wishes to the retiring team, Ramandeep, Amelia, and Sofia in their future endeavours. They have been amazing Ambassador’s and have bright futures to look forward to.

Lastly, Rannde, Jenae and Isabel thank the Miss Kelowna Lady of the Lake society for inviting them to the gala. They had an amazing weekend.

Ambassador farewells 👑

Representing British Columbia this past year has been a whirlwind experience, and one I will forever cherish so deeply. It has a been a year full of love, challenges, friendship, and personal growth. Representing my province, as well as my home community, with dignity and pride has been an honour above all else.

I would like to thank my community of West Kelowna for the endless support they have shown me over the last four years from Candidate to Ambassador, twice over. The outpour of love and support is foundational to where I am today, standing as West Kelowna’s first ever British Columbia Ambassador. I would also like to give my appreciation to all those who have stood beside in my journey, including the West Kelowna Ambassador Committee, fellow Ambassadors both past and present, my community, and everyone whom I shared apart of this experience with. Most importantly, I want to thank my family for their endless support through the past years, my parents have always been right at my side and I am forever grateful.

I am going to miss my time as a British Columbia Ambassador, but as it comes to an end, I look forward to the new adventures the future has to hold. Leaving my crown behind, I will be attending the University of British Columbia as a first step towards becoming a Lawyer. I know that as I tread this path, the lessons I have learned from my time as royalty will guide me. I will never forget my newfound passion, determination, courage, and leadership skills that I have developed throughout this program.

And of course, this experience would never have been the unforgettable year that it was without my team, Jenae and Rannde. You two have truly defined this past year, and I will leave this program knowing that the most valuable thing I gained was our lifelong friendships.

Thank you to the British Columbia Ambassador Society for making this past year possible. Brooklyn, Emily and Ashley, your hard work does not go unnoticed and I am forever thankful for your dedication to the youth of British Columbia.
