Vernon Pregnancy Outreach Program

Vernon Pregnancy Outreach Program Pregnancy Outreach Program provides free and confidential support to woman during pregnancy and postpartum until baby is six months old.

The Vernon Pregnancy Outreach Program partners with families who are pregnant and have babies up to six months of age. Our program is one of more than 300 Canada Prenatal Nutrition Programs (CPNP) funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada. Our program includes prenatal classes, prenatal vitamins, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, a weekly drop-in group*, monthly cooking classes, suppo

rt services, and referrals to assist in making connections within the community to support healthy outcomes for moms and babies.

*Weekly Drop-In Group****(sign-up required due to covid restrictions):Every Thursday at 10:30am to 12:00pm. Each week we have different topics such as: Pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, nutrition, infant development, baby care, self-care, parenting, healthy relationships, and guest speakers. Healthy snacks during group and lunch afterwards is provided.
