We are deeply grateful to Commissioner Carrique and the Ontario Provincial Police for their leadership and visible commitment to mental health.

The green epaulettes are more than a symbol. They represent courage, conversation, and a collective effort to support those who serve and the families who stand beside them.

Thank you for standing with this campaign and helping to move the conversation forward in such a meaningful way. Together, we continue to build a culture where mental health is recognized, supported, and prioritized across our policing community.

Green epaulettes serve as a visible reminder that mental health matters.

Between May 4-17, OPP uniforms may look slightly different as members wear green epaulettes to demonstrate our commitment to mental health awareness. They symbolize understanding, support and our ongoing efforts to reduce stigma.

Through open conversations, we can all contribute meaningfully to building healthier communities, where everyone feels seen, supported and empowered.
