maestro Ustad Irfan Muhammad Khan (.muhammadkhan) presented a beautiful style and two traditional in Bhimpalasi, followed by Gara. He was ably supported on the second sarod by Shri Arnab Chakrabarty () and on the by Pandit Debasish Sarkar (.sarkar.18659041). Shri Matyas Wolter () played the tanpura for his Ustad. This memorable concert by a rarely heard master will remain in the minds of music lovers for a long time to come.

A serious, focused rendering of Multani and Suha Kanada by Vidushi Shubha Mudgal (), accompanied brilliantly by Pt. Sudhir Nayak () and Dr. Aneesh Pradhan () was the opening recital of the 3rd annual Dr. Kalyan Mukherjea Memorial Concert ( 3.0) at , . The sheer hard work and deep thought that goes into Shubha ji’s recitals was palpable here. In an age where musicians never listen to one another, these three renowned and senior musicians sat through every performance that followed theirs. We are immensely grateful to the three maestros, whose true humility and decency one can’t escape noticing, for gracing our stage.
