We are excited to join with guest artists, the Guelph Chamber Choir, to share dynamic program of music for double choir. Antiphonal performances of works by Eric Whitacre, Josef Rheinberger, Urmas Sisask, Swani Zubayeer, Hussein Janmohamed, and Kathleen Allan will deliver an unforgettable and immersive choral spatial experience.

🌟AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT🌟

Orpheus is now accepting applications from all voice types for our prestigious Sidgwick Scholar Program. 😮

Founded in 1989, this program for emerging vocalists has supported the careers of over 100 singers who have gone on to national and international solo careers. Singers receive a financial stipend, have extensive solo opportunities within the choir, and receive professional coaching from our Artistic Director and Collaborative Pianist. 🎶

Our Artistic Director, Thomas Burton, invites you to the Orpheus Choir’s upcoming concert, “Rejoice in The Lamb”. 🎵

Join The Orpheus Choir, Durham’s RESOUND choir, and a professional orchestra, for a performance several masterpieces by composers from the United Kingdom. Karl Jenkins’ genre-defying Requiem will be paired with Gustav Holst’s Psalm 148, as well as the Canadian premiere of Imogen Holst’s orchestration of Rejoice in the Lamb by Benjamin Britten.
