The TTS was saddened to hear about the passing of long time member Bob Pineault yesterday. The attached photo of Bob is courtesy of member Richard Oldfield. Bob attended numerous society events and fan trips over the years. In the attached photo of the TTC 9370 CNG Orion V charter in October 2004, Bob is in the middle of the photo in the blue jacket and black shirt. Bob had extensive transit knowledge from years in the hobby, especially TTC and Twin Coaches. Bob's love of Twin Coaches led to him owning one for a short time (ex-Charterways) and it actually served as a parts bus for the restoration of the Twin Coach 38-S in the OC Transpo (Ottawa) historical collection. The OC Twin is ex-Windsor. TTS members will miss Bob's commentary during monthly meetings. May he rest in peace.

In the attached photo, Burlington Transit #7831, GMC T6H-5307N, is seen departing the old Elizabeth Street Bus Terminal on June 25, 1981.

The TTS is a little behind in the distribution of "Transfer Points" to our members but we are trying to gradually get back on schedule. The August/September and October issues were mailed to members this week and the November issue is currently being worked on. The August/September issue deals with the end of Tunnel Bus service by Transit Windsor. This follows up to the feature article that the TTS did in 2017.
