Circle Community LandTrust Circle is a nonprofit housing provider that was founded to protect and invest in some of the last affordable family-sized homes in Toronto.

We provide deeply affordable housing to more than 600 tenant households scattered across the city.

Last week, our Asset Health & Portfolio Performance Manager, Janice, represented Circle at the GHG Symposium, and we could not be more proud! 😊
 
She introduced Circle’s award-winning Expanding Possible program to the architecture, engineering, and building science community, showcasing homes that have undergone deep retrofits and sharing a glimpse into our 100 Year Homes initiative. We are quite literally laying the foundation (yes, we went there 🤭🏗️ ) for homes that are built to be climate resilient for the next century.
 
Affordable housing and climate resilience belong in the same conversation. We are glad to be in the room. 🏠🌱

Circle takes it national 🎉

Last week, our COO Lauren Blumas, along with Circle board member (and housing advocate extraordinaire) Diana Yoon, attended the annual National Congress in St. John’s NFLD.

Our team got to connect with affordable housing organizations and leaders from across the country. It was especially valuable to meet other scattered housing providers and talk shop! 🏠

We’ve re-partnered with an Indigenous-led landscape organization, to create these custom seed packets just for our tenants.

These seed packets attract pollinators. 🐝 🪻
Whether you have a backyard, or a windowsill that needs a little extra greenery, there’s a little piece of spring with your name on it. If you’d like to have a seed packet, please reach out to us or pick one up at our upcoming tenant events!
