AFC in Canada Ambassadors For Christ (AFC) exists to continue God's work in the worldwide evangelical student movement. What is Ambassadors For Christ in Canada (AFC)?

In partnership with local churches, we endeavour alongside students to be grounded in scripture and be faithful followers of Jesus Christ. ADVANCE the gospel in campuses across Eastern Canada, with effort focusing towards new immigrant youth and international students. FURNISH and equip Christian students to become missional and kingdom-oriented disciples, and foster missionary values among those who plan to return to their homelands. CATALYZE Christians, churches, and like-minded organizations to partner together to propagate the student Christian movement.

Last Saturday, we hosted our second of the year!

High school students from across the GTA gathered to encourage each other, pray together, and share their experiences as student leaders in their high school fellowships. With the theme of , we were reminded that we don’t have to follow Jesus alone. Instead, we are invited to follow Him together, growing a that inspires us to live for something greater than ourselves.

AFC Teens Conference exists to nurture students toward a in Jesus that motivates them to live beyond themselves. But that kind of transformation doesn't happen by accident. It happens because people like you show up, serve wholeheartedly, and offer your gifts for something eternal.

Introducing the theme for AFC Teens Conference 2027: ✨ Made For More ✨

Ephesians 2:1-10 tells us the truth about who we are apart from Christ: dead in our sin, looking for satisfaction in all the wrong places, only to find empty promises and broken dreams. “BUT GOD.” Two words that change everything. Because of his great love, God didn’t leave us where we were. Instead, he made us alive in Christ, raised us and seated us with him, not because we earned it, but because grace is a gift freely given.

This is the story invites you into. We are because we were made for God.

Frosh ConneXion 2026! 🎉

There's no better way to start the school year than connecting with new friends, meeting older brothers and sisters in Christ, and hearing how God is moving on campus.

On August 11, post-secondary students from across the GTA gathered for Frosh ConneXion (FX) — our annual welcome for first-year students into Christian community. The night unfolded over a shared meal, worship, testimonies, and upper-years welcoming newcomers with icebreakers and stories of their own journeys.

As the school year begins, we 🙏 every student finds a community to grow in their faith, live as faithful witnesses on campus, and help build courageous communities where all can flourish.

Join us in praying for the AFC Post-Secondary Ministry.

Pray:
🙏 For incoming first-year students who are new to campus and fellowship, especially those who are new to faith, that they would be a part of a flourishing community where they can encounter and discover who Jesus is.

🙏 For Christian students to be faithful witnesses on their campuses while remaining connected to their home churches through ongoing discipleship, fellowship, and spiritual growth, especially for those who may be studying out of town.

🙏 That our post-secondary ministry team would be well grounded in Christ, faithfully modeling the blessed life we invite our students into.

Pray for the Students:
✝️ To grow in their faith and confidence as they lead their school fellowships.

🏫 That school fellowships can become a place of community within their schools where students can feel supported and encouraged in their faith.

Pray for the Staff:
🤝 To strengthen our relationships with churches, pastors, schools, and parents so we can support students.

The work of reaching the next generation was never meant to be done alone. 🤝

Recently, student ministry leaders from across Canada gathered to pray, learn, and dream together about what God is doing. It was a meaningful time for our Director of Field Ministries, Letty Wong, and Executive Director, Darren Lung, to connect with fellow leaders who share a passion for seeing students encounter Jesus and live out a .

While our ministries serve in different contexts, we are united by one mission: joining God in His work to renew and restore all things 🌏. Together, we are building bridges, strengthening partnerships, and seeking the flourishing of students, campuses, churches, and communities across 🇨🇦!
