๐Ÿ•๏ธ๐Ÿ“ฆNeighbour in Need: Street Outreach ๐Ÿ“ฆ๐Ÿ•๏ธ

๐Ÿ“ข Actions speak louder than words. Last Friday, from 6:00 pm โ€“ 11:00 pm, we partnered with Veโ€™ahavta, a Jewish humanitarian organisation, helping out on their daily outreach runs. ๐Ÿชก๐ŸงถWe also donated blankets and supplies from our previous Make-A-Blanket workshops, bringing warmth and hope โ€“ one meal and one blanket at a time. ๐Ÿชข๐Ÿซ‚
๐ŸšWe coursed through downtown, stopping by the University Ave. Courthouse, Union Station, and Kensington Market.๐Ÿšฐ๐ŸฒWe successfully delivered over 100 hot meals, water, fresh clothes, and supplies to our neighbours in need! ๐Ÿฅก๐ŸชIt was truly a meaningful and insightful session, especially when getting to know the unhoused citizens of Toronto on a deeper level.

๐ŸซถThank you to both the Veโ€™ahavta staff and our volunteers who worked so well together! We really appreciate your dedication and effort throughout this special evening.

๐ŸŽก Our high-energy hybrid event hosted over 50 booths in both indoor and outdoor spaces with a diverse range of handmade market stalls, food & beverage products, art exhibitions, and interactive zones.

๐Ÿ™ Weโ€™re extremely grateful to all our vendors, art & craft stalls, game booths, and community partners for joining our inaugural Youth Festival. You truly shared a special part of your culture, heritage, and creativity, bringing parts of East Asia straight to Toronto.

๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿข We are so proud of our Festival providing an immersive experience and a premier platform for young talent in the Greater Toronto Area. Our Artisan Youth Market successfully showcased local small businesses and hand-crafters, highlighting a wide variety of creative and delicious expressions from different cultural heritages! ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒณ Hereโ€™s a recap of popular tree planting event! ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒฑ

Actions speak louder than words: Through community greening and working together, we planted over 150 trees and shrubs, making a significant impact on our environment. Thank you so much to our dedicated volunteers and also the staff for teaming up with us for this tree-planting endeavor. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’š

But wait! Thereโ€™s more! After a day of tree planting, we enjoyed a guided nature hike and traced tree barks to explore the parkโ€™s local plants and habitats, reconnecting with the natural world around us through our five senses. ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐ŸŒฒ

Together, with our actions let's keep working towards a greener, healthier planet! ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’ช
