n with physical and developmental challenges and typically developing peers enjoy a play-based curriculum that helps each child reach their full potential. We are a registered charity and run a number of events to help us raise the funds necessary to provide a specialized setting with the therapeutic equipment, programming and small ratio (1:4) staff to child support to achieve success as defined by each child and family.

🎵Learning through play was in full swing in the Blue Room! Our kiddos practiced making choices,followed stop-and-go instructions,and became mini musicians while exploring a variety of instruments. 💙🥁

This week in the Green Room we focused on the critical development of fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination. Through targeted, hands-on activities, the children practiced focusing their attention and mapping their visual tracking to physical hand movements. Using various types of grasps like palmer, pincer and cylindrical grasps, to complete each activity.

The Red Room children have been working all year on a different letter each week. They work on the letter in a variety of ways; using their fingers to trace the letter, using wooden lines and curves, putting stickers on the letter and using a small crayon working on finger and hand grip.
They look forward to seeing which letter will be featured each week.

This week in the Green Room our little learners practiced some focused fine motor colour matching activities that encouraged coordination, strength, and confidence. During our Gross Motor movements we actively explore and build our strength, balance and confidence in a fun engaging way.
