The 1st Lakeshore Scouts Group Dirt Drive is officially underway, and our Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts are hitting the streets to bring your garden to life this spring!

Order your topsoil, black earth, farmyard mix, organic potting soil, mulch, and seeds — delivered right to your door on April 25! 🪴🌻

We hope you can join us at our annual Pancake Supper at Alderwood United Church. This year it will take place on Feb 17th.

This event has been taking place for longer than anyone can tell me... The 19th Lakeshore group started hosting this annual supper as a way to say THANK YOU to Alderwood United Church for their ongoing support of the group and Scouting in general.

In 2018/2019, 1st Lakeshore and 19th Lakeshore merged together and we continue hosting the community-wide event.

If anyone has any info about the history of this event, please let us know.

Dinner consists of: 2 pieces of bacon or sausage (vegan option available), unlimited pancakes, butter, syrup, coffee/tea/juice box.

$10 per person, or $35 for a family of 4. Donations are also welcome.

Unfortunately our longtime truck sponsor is unavailable for next Saturday's Lakeshore Santa Claus Parade.

We are seeking a flatbed truck or trailer for our younger members to ride on.

If you can help please get in touch.

For a trailer we will need someone with commercial insurance to tow it.
