1st Lakeshore Scouts The 1st Lakeshore Scout group meets @ Seventh St. School & Alderwood United Church.

The 1st Lakeshore Scout group was established on January 19, 1919 under the original name of 1st New Toronto Scouts. The Group has met on the grounds of the current Seventh Street Junior School since its inception.

2019 saw the group's expansion to include the 19th Lakeshore Scouts that have met at Alderwood United Church for over 60 years, originally as the 1st Alderwood Scouts. It has a dedic

ated volunteer leadership team and Group Committee that mentor the youth of our community through the Scouts Canada program. Interest in volunteering or enrolling your child can be done by direct message on this page.

It’s that time of year again!
The 1st Lakeshore Scouts Group Dirt Drive is officially underway, and our Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts are hitting the streets to bring your garden to life this spring!

We hope you can join us at our annual Pancake Supper at Alderwood United Church. This year it will take place on Feb 17th.

This event has been taking place for longer than anyone can tell me... The 19th Lakeshore group started hosting this annual supper as a way to say THANK YOU to Alderwood United Church for their ongoing support of the group and Scouting in general.

In 2018/2019, 1st Lakeshore and 19th Lakeshore merged together and we continue hosting the community-wide event.

If anyone has any info about the history of this event, please let us know.

Dinner consists of: 2 pieces of bacon or sausage (vegan option available), unlimited pancakes, butter, syrup, coffee/tea/juice box.

$10 per person, or $35 for a family of 4. Donations are also welcome.
