The 2026 Moss Park Festival

🗓️ Date: Saturday, August 8
🕐 Time: 1pm-4pm
📍Location: Moss Park Apartments

This Saturday, the Neighborhood Information Post is hosting their annual Moss Park Festival on the south green-space of the Moss Park Apartments which is on the north side of Queen Street at Ontario Street.

There will be entertainment and activities for the whole family, a BBQ (halal!), photo booth, live music, a DJ, a clown and much more!

Beginning at 11 p.m., Sun. July 26, streetcar service on the 506/306 Carlton route will divert between Bay and Parliament streets to accommodate sewer, track and overhead infrastructure work on College and Carlton streets between Bay to Church streets.

Streetcar ReroutesWestbound & Eastbound:
🚍Streetcars operate via Dundas Street West between Bay Street and Parliament Street instead of the regular College/Carlton route between Bay and Church.

Replacement Bus Service (506B / 306B)
🚍Eastbound Buses: Run from Spadina Station via Spadina Avenue, College Street, Carlton Street, Parliament Street, and Gerrard Street East to Broadview Avenue.
🚍Westbound Buses: Run from Broadview Avenue/Gerrard Street East via Gerrard Street East, Parliament Street, Jarvis Street, Wellesley Street, Bay Street, College Street, and Spadina Avenue.

As Toronto transitions out of FIFA World Cup 2026TM operations, the TTC will adjust service on several routes beginning Sun., July 26, while also implementing temporary route changes to support upcoming infrastructure improvements in the downtown core.

Ontario Line contractor Connect 6ix has partnered with WCG, the Service System Manager for Toronto’s Employment Ontario service providers, to help local job seekers access employment opportunities on the Ontario Line project.

As part of this work, WCG and Connect 6ix will be hosting a free information session for residents in the Moss Park community interested in learning about employment opportunities on the Ontario Line.

Date: Wednesday July 22, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM
Location: 40 Oak Street

During this session, participants will have the opportunity to:
⭐️Learn about current and upcoming Ontario Line career opportunities.
⭐️ Meet representatives from Connect 6ix and WCG.
⭐️ Learn about the skills and qualifications employers are looking for.
⭐️ Find out how to access free employment supports, including resume assistance, interview preparation, skills training and other job readiness services.

An overnight concrete pour is scheduled to take place at Moss Park tomorrow, Tuesday, July 14, starting at 10:30 p.m. The pour will continue until 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15.

The concrete pump truck will be stationed in the arena parking lot during the pour. Seven concrete trucks are scheduled to arrive and offload approximately every 30 to 45 minutes throughout the pour.
