Brief overviews of each competition:

JUNIOR DESIGN - In teams of 3-4 you must design a prototype to complete a certain task. Only students in their first two years of study may compete. SENIOR DESIGN - In teams of 3-4 you must design a prototype to complete a certain task, this challenge will be more complex and involved, and may or may not involve programming. CONSULTING - In teams of 3-4, brai

nstorm a creative solution to a problem, write and submit a report, then create a presentation. PROGRAMMING - In teams of 3-4, you must create a program that can be used to solve a proposed problem. PARLIAMENTARY DEBATE - In teams of 2, you must argue and rebuttal various topics, which are determined on competition day. ENGINEERING COMMUNICATION - In teams of 2, you must present a technical topic in non-technical terms to an audience that is not familiar in the field. INNOVATIVE DESIGN - In groups of 3-4 you must sell the premise of an idea in a creative and appealing way. (Ideally suited to 4th years doing capstone design)

RE-ENGINEERING - In teams of 2, you must redesign an existing product or process to adapt it for a completely new purpose.
