📣One more Clean Indoor Air workshop before we take a summer break! In case you missed our workshop at Toronto Climate Week, we will be delivering it again on July 11 at Swansea Town Hall.

Climate change is increasing the incidence and severity of poor air quality days. The sad fact is that most buildings are not designed to handle fine particulate air pollution (whether from wildfires or jet engines) and airborne diseases. That means we need to take steps now to make our indoor spaces more resilient to these challenges. If you’ve been wondering how the proposed expansion of Billy Bishop Airport will affect air quality across the city, please join us!

This workshop will focus on easy, practical methods to prepare for wildfire smoke, extreme heat, and poor air quality days. Chemist & science communicator Louise Hidinger, PhD will discuss sources of air pollution, current indoor air quality standards, and IAQ monitoring. Participants will learn how to create healthier indoor spaces by improving indoor air quality and managing sources of air pollution.

This event is free, but please register to reserve a spot as space in the meeting room is limited. Hope to see you there!

Premier Ford is gutting green building standards across the province.

Send a message to your MPP now

Buried deep inside Bill 98, Premier Ford’s so-called ‘housing’ bill eliminates the existing green building standards municipalities have had for years.

Tell your MPP that you want the province to stop gutting green building standards.

Helping GTHA homeowners go solar

TAF usually works behind the scenes on clean electrification, and we still are, but we're trying something new. We've just launched Home Solar Accelerator, a new, free concierge-style service that makes it easier than ever for GTHA residents to install home solar and battery storage.

Our expert advisors guide residents through every step:

Helping homeowners understand their options
Comparing quotes from pre‑qualified installers
Supporting homeowners through the solar journey

Why now?

Installing solar and batteries is one of the most effective ways for homeowners to cut carbon and generate value and energy resilience. By helping at least 1,000 residents go solar, the Accelerator will add over 8 megawatts of clean electricity across the region.
