For many families, the path to an HHT diagnosis is long, confusing, and filled with unanswered questions — often taking five times longer than the average rare disease.

Cure HHT is here to change the story. Together with patients, families, and physicians, we’re building awareness, training experts, and accelerating the path to answers.

💙 Because every family deserves a clear diagnosis — and hope for the future.

In Loving Memory of Lorna Vokey (December 31, 1970 – October 2024)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Treasurer, Lorna Vokey. Lorna dedicated her life to advocating for those affected by hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT). Her unwavering dedication played a pivotal role in supporting, and growing HHT Canada THH. She was not just a colleague but a dear friend to many of us.

Lorna's passion and commitment were the driving force behind many of our achievements. She championed our cause with relentless energy and enthusiasm, ensuring that the voices of the HHT community were heard and supported. Her legacy will continue to inspire us all.

We extend our deepest condolences to her loved ones during this difficult time. Lorna will be missed dearly by all who knew her and the entire HHT community.

In loving memory of Lorna Vokey, who touched so many lives and made an indelible mark on our hearts.
