DON'T HOLD BACK
by: Marissa Bergonia

Exodus 4:10-13 (NLT)
10 Moses said to the Lord, “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”
11 The Lord said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord? 12 Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”
13 But Moses said, “Pardon your servant, Lord. Please send someone else.”

Last Sunday we have heard a powerful message that reminds us about our calling, our purpose and this quoted "God does not call the qualified; He qualifies the called."

And reminds me of the life of Moses, a man who was raised, lived and part of the royal lineage in Egypt. His life got a turned around when he killed an Egyptian, ran for his life and live in Midian tending sheeps.

But God encounter him through a burning bush and called him to be the advocate in taking out the people of Israel from slavery in Egypt. Moses was the only one called to be an advocate for his people but he had an excuse for not being able to speak efficiently in public. Aaron had to join him as his spokesperson.

Inspite of the many miracles, the encounter and the experience still he saw his inadequacy, inability and his weakness.

Now a days like Moses, what holds us back from responding to God's call? What are our excuses? Is it the busyness from work? Is it the bills, expenses, family or the fear of losing the luxurious life, the comfortability or like Moses his inadequacy, fear of rejection and failure?

We can always have a lot of excuses not to respond to His call or delay it, but take note God rejected Moses’ excuses.

Moses was done with excuses and showed the real state of his heart. His problem wasn’t really a lack of ability; it was a lack of willingness.

It is important to know that when God calls us for ministry or service, he calls us and as we step in obedience, He then empowers and equip us.

Replace excuses with prayer, doubt with trust and fear with faith in Him. Let us take every opportunity while we are still alive, and have the strength to be used by Him for His purpose and the kingdom of God. Don't hold back! God got you!

PRAYER
Almighty God, we praise you and honor you, thank you for reminding us not to hold back and delay things. Forgive us Lord for the times that we tend to deny, reject, delay and make many excuses to fullfill the purpose and the calling to serve and give our full potential in doing the ministry that you have called us. As we give our availability and willingness, let it be so Lord, that you will empower, equip and use us mightily in your kingdom and for your glory alone! Thank you Lord for the opportunity and the priviledge that you have entrusted us. In Jesus mighty name, Amen!

TRUST IN THE LORD
by: Shella May Cosme

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

In reflecting on this passage, we are invited to surrender our understanding and trust in the Lord with all our hearts. It's a powerful reminder that our human wisdom, though valuable, is limited and sometimes flawed. God's wisdom, however, is infinite and perfect.

When we lean on our own understanding, we often stumble, but when we trust fully in God's direction, He promises to make our paths straight.

This scripture calls for a deep sense of trust and submission to God's will. It's about acknowledging our limitations and placing our confidence in His boundless wisdom. By doing so, we open ourselves to divine guidance, which leads us to paths of righteousness and peace.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, grant me the courage to trust in You with all my heart. Help me to lean not on my own understanding but to seek Your wisdom in all that I do. Guide my path, Lord, and make it straight. May I find comfort in Your divine direction and assurance in Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

WILL YOU COME OUT?
by: Alyssa Pastor

John 11:1-44
(The Death of Lazarus)

We all know the story of Lazarus. It is a man who became sick, died, and was placed in a tomb for four days. To everyone witnessed, it was already over. Hope had faded, and death seemed final.

But Jesus still came.

He stood before the grave and said, “Roll the
stone away.” Even when everything looked final, Jesus called out, “Lazarus, come forth!”

But this is where it becomes personal. Because many of us are still living like we are in the tomb, even after Jesus has already spoken life. We know the story, we hear the word, but inside we still sit wrapped in things God already called us out of.

Some of us are alive physically but still bound spiritually- held by shame from the past, fear of the future, guilt over mistakes, and wounds we never surrendered to God. And yet Jesus is still speaking. The problem is not that Jesus stopped calling, it’s that sometimes we stop responding.

He is calling us out of sin, but we stay hiding. He is calling us out of shame, but we keep covering ourselves. He is calling us into freedom, but we keep holding on to what is familiar, even if it is destroying us.

Lazarus didn’t raise himself. He simply responded to the voice of Jesus and came out . The power was in the One who called him, not in the condition he was in. That same voice still speaks today! And this voice is stronger than depression, stronger than addiction, stronger than guilt, stronger than every label the enemy has placed over your life.

So, the question is not whether Jesus can call you out , because He already has.

The question is: WILL YOU COME OUT?

Because staying in the tomb is no longer your identity if Jesus has already spoken your name. You are not defined by where you were, but by the One who called you out. What once held you no longer has authority over you because His voice has already spoken life over you.

So don’t settle in a place Jesus has already broken you free from. Don’t agree with a version of yourself that God has already called out. You are no longer bound, forgotten, or stuck. You are called, seen, and made new in Christ.

PRAYER
Father God we thank you for the words that you imparted unto us today. Lord, open our ears to hear your voice clearly. Deliver us from everything that keeps us bound. And Lord, give us the courage to step out of what you have already broken us free from. We also thank you for calling us into life, freedom, and restoration. We ask for your guidance as we implement these words into reality. May you be glorified in our lives Lord, in Jesus Name, Amen.

THE JEHOVAH JIREH
by: Mark Estrella
‭‭
Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭26‬ ‭(NIV‬‬)
“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?”

Most of us are familiar with this verse. But this is a good reminder how good and faithful is God. Majority of people specially here in Canada is too much worried about money and work. Sometimes they can even sacrifice their Sundays to have extra income. Don’t get me wrong, there are reasonable situations that we cannot avoid. But if you miss it for months maybe you have to check your priorities.

How can we receive God’s provision if we’re not trusting His ways? How can God move in our lives if we always do all the works? We have to balance everything. I’m not saying you don’t need to work, you just have to do your part and let God do His and you will see the best result.

Faith, trust and work must go along. Relying too much is not good. Also working too much. Let’s pray for our current situation if you’re experiencing it. And we must step forward to see God’s work in our lives.

PRAYER
Father God, we thank you for this day. Thank you for reminding us not to worry about other things. We continue to ask for your guidance and protection throughout this week. I pray that your favor and blessings be upon us. Strengthen us as we do our personal things and in our works and school. Thank you once again, in Jesus mighty name, Amen!

NOTHING IS HARD FOR GOD
by: Gealla Sion

“I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah‬ ‭32‬:‭27‬ ‭(NIV‬‬)

God is the Creator of everything. If He was able to create heaven and the earth, humans, and all else, is anything still too hard for Him to do in your life? God gave Sarah and Abraham a child despite their old age. Why? Because nothing is impossible with God!

Sometimes, we pray, and we wait, yet nothing seems to happen. Because of that, we start losing hope. Now, God is asking you, “Is anything too hard for me?”

That being said, we should never underestimate what God can do. He can turn things around. He can make the impossible, possible. He makes a way even when we think there’s no way. He performs signs, wonders, and miracles, and that’s how powerful He is. When we come to think of it, we can’t help but say, “Wow. How did it all happen?” and it is all God’s doing.

God is always in control. We need to trust Him instead of relying on our own. Do not limit Him based on what you can see. Instead of magnifying our problems, let’s magnify God.

When you don’t know what to do anymore, just come to God and say, “Lord, I don’t know how You will do it, but I know You can.”
Therefore, brothers and sisters, let’s keep praying. Keep believing. Keep trusting. Do not give up.

PRAYER
Father God, we praise You, for You are so amazing and powerful. Lord, indeed, nothing is too hard for You. We are excited, hopeful, and expectant for what You have prepared for us. As we wait, we ask that You strengthen our faith and fix our eyes on You alone. We surrender everything into Your hands, knowing that nothing is impossible for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen!

FIGHTING FEAR AND TRUSTING GOD
by: Gilbert Rigos

“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.” John 14:1 (NLT)

This is a beautiful reminder that fear loses its power when we place our trust in God. Even in uncertain times, Jesus invites us to rest in Him,(in His presence, and in His hands) instead of being consumed or overwhelmed by worry.

One of the strongest truths in this devotion is that peace does not come from having a problem free- life, it comes from knowing who walks with us through every situation that we may faced. The Holy Bible reminds us in John 14:1 that Jesus spoke about peace while facing the cross Himself. That means His peace is deeper than circumstances.

So how do we avoid getting stuck in a cycle of fear? How practically do we keep from getting overwhelmed with anxiety?

I. Pray honestly, even when your faith feels weak.
II. Fill your mind with God’s Word instead of constant negativity.
III. Worship during stressful moments and when fear comes.
IV. Talk to trusted, faith-filled people.
V. Remember past moments where God has been faithful and show His mighty power in your life.

Without doubt, there will be troubling situations that come up. But because we know and trust who’s in charge, we don’t have to be troubled by those events.

The promise of God in the Book of Isaiah 26:3 which is a very comforting word says;
“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!” (NLT)
‭‭
Fear may still knock at the door, but it does not have the control to your heart when your trust is fully anchored in God.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father in heaven, we praise You and we worship your most holy name. Today, we keep surrendering our lives to you. Thank You Lord for being our peace in every season of life. When fear and worries come, help us to trust You more and rest in Your promises. Strengthen our faith, calm our hearts, and remind us that You are always with us. Fill us oh Lord with Your perfect peace each day and continue to be with us always. We continue to give back the highest glory, honor, and thanksgiving to Your most holy name! IN JESUS NAME, AMEN!

OVERCOMING ANXIETY
by: Nerisse Curameng

1 Corinthians 9:27
“But I discipline my body and keep it under control.”

Living a life aligned with God requires discipline of both the body and the mind. Anxiety is often connected to the things we carry—fear, guilt, unhealthy habits, or emotional burdens.

Yet God lovingly invites us to surrender everything to Him so we can receive deliverance, forgiveness, peace, and renewal.

Choose to Embrace God’s Purpose
Deliverance & Surrender
Give your anxiety, fears, and burdens to God. Ask Him to free your heart and fill you with His perfect peace.

Forgiveness & Renewal
Come before God with honesty. Receive His grace, accept His forgiveness, and release every feeling of guilt or shame.

Discipline What You Consume
Eat with balance and wisdom.
Be consistent in caring for your body through exercise and rest.
Watch and listen to Bible-based teachings, worship, and uplifting content.

Read God’s Word daily and fill your mind with faith-building truth.

Relationships & Spending
Surround yourself with people who encourage your walk with God.

Set healthy boundaries where needed.
Practice discipline in spending to avoid unnecessary stress and worry.

Realign Your Thoughts
Recognize negative thoughts, surrender them to God, and replace them with His truth.

Example:
“I’m overwhelmed” → “God is my strength and my peace.”

Walk in What Is Right
Choose daily to walk in obedience to God. Remember, discipline is not about perfection—it is about consistency and surrender.

PRAYER
Lord Jesus, I surrender my anxiety, fears, and burdens to You. Deliver me from anything that is not from You and fill me with Your peace. Forgive me and renew my heart and mind. Help me to walk in discipline—in what I eat, what I watch and listen to, what I read, how I spend, and the relationships I keep around me.

Teach me to replace negative thoughts with Your truth. Strengthen me to walk in obedience and to do what is right in Your eyes each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

THE LIGHT OF HIS LIFE
by: Alexander L. Tan

The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone.
John 1:4 (NLT)

John 1:4a “The Word gave life to everyone that was created,”
The Word is referring to the Scriptures; however in order for the Scriptures to become the scripture, God has to be first. For God created the Word, therefore he is the Word.

The Word also means God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit (John 1:1). God has created each and everyone and everything on this earth. For He is the creator of this world and has given the breathe of life.

Everyone on this earth is meant to glorify and worship God. God created the world and people are alive and living but we are here on this earth temporarily. God created us for his glory alone and that we must praise him and glorify him, then we will truly have life. An eternal life beyond the life here on earth.

Life can also be referred to Jesus, as God sent his one and only son to this world. Through Jesus we are able to receive the gift of eternal life.

John 1:4b "and his life brought light to everyone."
Here there is a possessive pronoun "his" before "life", this means it is referring to Jesus. God has always been there for us: yesterday, today and tomorrow. For when Jesus came to this world, it was already engulfed with sin. Sin made this world full of darkness and unrighteousness.

The life of Jesus brought light into this world not only because of his sacrifice; he was pure and righteous and was an example of a sinless life. He was God is human form. He showed us what love is. Jesus is love, compassion, kindness, mercy and faithfulness.

Through the life of Jesus, he was able to bring light over the darkness of this world. He defeated the darkness and and sin in this world. By believing in Jesus Christ, we are able to change our lives for the better. We will change our character to what pleases the Lord our God for he will show and light our path to Him.

PRAYER
Lord Jesus, I praise and glorify your name. You are the Saviour of my soul and the Light unto my path to the Father. You breathe life into me. For through you I am alive and well. Forgive me Lord of my sins. For all that unrighteous and unclean, I ask that you strip it all away from my heart, mind and soul. Renew me and mold me into a disciple that I committed and obedient to your Word and according to your Will. Thank you Lord for your love and your faithfulness to me. For your unchanging and unfailing love that holds me all of my days. Thank you Lord for bringing me back to your presence, that I am strong and wise to stay on this path you have set for me.

I pray Father God that you reveal yourself to my family and friends that do not know you yet. Open the minds and touch their hearts with your great love and mercy. Bring them to your light and forgive them for their sin and wickedness. I pray Lord God for the strength and confidence to be used to share your Word. Use me Lord for your kingdom and to win souls for your name. In all this I ask and pray, in Jesus' name, AMEN!
