Congratulations to our 2026 Lead Stewards in Training graduates! Our largest graduate cohort to date 👏

We’re so proud of each of you for completing the program and for your dedication to community, continuous learning, ecological health, and meaningful change.

A heartfelt thank you to our Learning Circle, Field Trip volunteers, and the incredible staff at Todmorden Mills for making this such a vibrant and uplifting experience, filled with positive energy and connection.

🌿 Community Clean-Up Day at Nashville Conservation Reserve 🌿

Join on Saturday May 2, 2026 from 1:00–3:00 PM for a Community Clean-Up Day at the Nashville Conservation Reserve!

📍 Meet at 1:00 PM at the Huntington Rd & Kirby Rd entrance.

🧤 Supplies provided: Gloves, garbage pickers, safety vests, and bags (courtesy of the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority).

🎤 Come and listen to Pedro Pereyra, a scientist specializing in endangered species, who will be speaking during the event.

📝 Please register (yourself + guests) so enough supplies can be prepared - via the eventbrite.ca link in the TNS bio.

🌎 The Nashville Conservation Reserve is home to endangered species like the Redside Dace and Red-headed Woodpecker. Together, you can help protect this vital habitat.

💧 What to bring:
• Reusable water bottle
• Weather-appropriate clothing (rain or shine!)
• Light-colored clothing that can be tucked in to help prevent tick bites
