A three-legged dog with a full, joyful heart

Beckham didn’t choose his name by accident.

It was given to him so his story wouldn’t feel like a tragedy — even after a car accident changed his life forever.

His left leg could not be saved.

And yet… Beckham runs, smiles, plays, and greets people with pure happiness.

Now 3 years old and around 15 kg, Beckham has a spirit that refuses to slow down. He doesn’t see himself as different — and neither should you.

What he doesn’t have yet is a place to call home.

He doesn’t know what it’s like to truly belong.

But what he does know… is how to love.

And he’s ready to give that love to someone here.

We are looking for a foster or forever home ready to welcome him when he lands.

Looking for a Foster-to-Adopt Home
Brother of Nina & Nana

This sweet boy is all about love, connection, and a little bit of adventure 💛

Aris is a 7-month-old rescued pup (about 30 lbs) who was found with his siblings Nina and Nana. He’s a gentle, affectionate young boy who is still learning about the world and soaking up every bit of kindness he receives.

He’s outgoing and people-focused, often choosing to stay close to his humans for comfort and connection. Aris enjoys playtime, exploring, and then settling in for cuddles once he’s comfortable. He has a soft, soulful nature and is eager to bond with his forever family.

He’s great with both dogs and cats, making him a wonderful fit for many homes. As a young pup, he will benefit from continued guidance, patience, and positive reinforcement as he grows into his best self.

Looking for a Foster to Adopt Home:
Sweet, lovable, and adorable Nina! 🐾💕

Nina is Nana’s sister and arrived at our rescue this past April after being found dumped at a garbage site with her siblings. Thankfully, they were rescued and given a second chance at life. 💔➡️💖

She’ll be coming in mid-May and is looking for a foster-to-adopt home to welcome her!

At just about 7 months old, Nina is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. She’s great with dogs, cats, kids — truly everyone she meets. Her gentle, loving nature makes her an easy fit for just about any home. She is about 30 pounds.

Nina can be a little shy at first and is still learning how to walk on a leash, so she’ll thrive with a patient and loving family who can help build her confidence and show her the world at her own pace. 💕

An incredible victory—driven by passion, persistence, and a fierce commitment to advocating for these dogs.

🐶 A Breakthrough Moment for Beagles

The Center for a Humane Economy, in partnership with Big Dog Ranch Rescue and allied groups, has reached an agreement to transfer 1,500 beagles from a major laboratory breeding facility in Wisconsin into rehabilitation and adoption.

This is one of the largest coordinated efforts ever to move dogs out of the research supply system.

This is a signal of a larger transformation already underway, away from outdated animal testing and toward modern, human-relevant science.

What’s better than finding a forever home for one dog? 🐾✨

Meet Cassie, Will, and Tucker. 🐶🐶🐶

It all started with one “yes”… one adoption, one life forever changed. 💛
Then this amazing family opened their home again — choosing to foster with Cause 4 Paws Toronto. Just temporary… just to help.

But something beautiful happened.

Another pup arrived, a little unsure but full of potential… and that “temporary” stay turned into forever.

And then… it happened again.

One became two… and two became three. 🐾✨
Before they knew it, their home was filled with wagging tails, big personalities, and even bigger love.

Cassie. Will. Tucker. 💛
Three incredible dogs. One very special family.

And today, we’re celebrating Tucker’s 3rd gotcha day! 🎉🐾
When Tucker first came into care, he was living with his sibling and waiting for his chance at a better life… and now, three years later, he’s exactly where he belongs.

In honour of Tucker’s special day, his family made a generous donation toward our medical bills — helping other dogs get the care they need and the second chances they deserve. 🐶💕

Not planned. Not expected. Just love doing what it does best — growing. 🌟

This is the magic of fostering.
