All Creatures Rescue You can’t change the whole world, but you can change someone’s whole world. Our focus is helping animals in laboratories and high kill shelters.

All Creatures Rescue is dedicated to the ongoing rescue and rehabilitation of animals that have been neglected, abused or have special needs. ❤️Bear Is Adopted❤️

The bunny with the cutest name and the best personality has left the building.

Bear came to All Creatures Rescue just days before he was set to be euthanized. His story was an emotional journey. From an urgent 5am call on a Sunday to see if we could take him, to a tearful send off by shelter staff relieved that he was saved, to one of our best foster moms messaging us shocked at how perfect he was.

Bear waited almost a year to find his human and as always the wait was worth it. The most amazing family has fallen in love with him.

While we are sad to see this perfect bunny go we are thrilled for his bunny summer! Don’t forget us Bear!

We’re looking for items for tabling events, auctions, fundraising and an online store.

If you make enrichment toys for rats or other small animals, catnip pillows, crotchet animals (no wool please), buttons anything and everything, and like to help animals reach out!

We’re also looking for an event crew that likes to meet people, have fun, and attend events on behalf of All Creatures Rescue.

Gus and Gillian are celebrating their one year anniversary at the rescue.

We are as shocked as them that they haven’t been scooped up. They love hay, their foster mom, humans in general, dressing up, and screaming for veggies - in that order.

They have a reduced adoption fee and a lot of love to give.

Over 13 years ago we rescued our first group of animals from a lab - 200 mice.

We weren’t a rescue yet, just a group of friends that thought helping others was fun. We are happy to say that many years later we’ve met many kind and generous folks that share our view of the happy warrior.

Whenever we get down the smallest members at All Creatures Rescue give us a side eye and remind us to get over ourselves.

This month we need to raise $500 for several upcoming large rescues.

We are also looking for a marketing and media liaison. If you have a flair for the dramatic and love rodents, if you have a looney or two, or if you have a skill that you’re dying to use to help tiny creatures email us at:

Summer is here.

When being extra nice to that neighbor with the pool, gently remind them to install a simple life saving ramp to help wildlife that are naturally attracted to the water.

We ask that you keep pet rats away from pools, but here are some fun rat facts:

* rats can tread water and are excellent swimmers
* rats can hold their breath for up to three minutes
* rats use their tails as rudders to steer

Another horse has died in Central Park on Tuesday.

This is Deniz. He was 16 years old, and spent his whole life being abused for a few minutes of forgotten entertainment.

Standing above him is his driver. Deniz was just a money maker for him, and he probably already has another horse lined up to take his place.
