Working with Seniors: Complex Needs & Housing Stability in Toronto 🏡👵👴

Last Thursday, we had the pleasure of bringing together community professionals for a workshop focused on supporting older adults with complex needs and promoting housing stability in Toronto.

Participants heard from experts across the housing, mental health, elder abuse prevention, counselling, and legal sectors, gaining valuable insights into:
🏠 Affordable and supportive housing options
💙 Seniors’ mental health and crisis supports
🛡️ Elder abuse prevention and response
⚖️ Legal rights and advocacy for older adults
🤝 Community resources and collaboration

A heartfelt thank you to our guest presenters for sharing their knowledge and expertise!!✨

We also thank everyone who attended and contributed to the conversation. By working together, we can build stronger support systems that help older adults age with dignity, safety, and connection.

This month, we recognize and celebrate the rich histories, diverse cultures, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.

It is also a time to listen, learn, reflect, and continue the journey toward truth, reconciliation, and meaningful relationships.
