Worried about walking into a room full of strangers at Camp Widow® Calgary? We hear that so often! That’s exactly why we host “We Have a Widowed Person For That” on Friday afternoon.

This structured matching session helps you find the people who truly get your exact circumstances. Tables are set up to help you find other survivors of grief. Whether your person passed away due to a health issue, an accident or other circumstances, there is a place at a table for you.

Don't wait—our Camp Widow® Calgary hotel block is almost full!

The special Camp Widow® Calgary room rate ends September 2, 2026, and there are only a limited number of rooms left. Let’s talk about Saturday night at Camp Widow® Calgary! On September 26, we’ll gather for our signature Soaring Spirits Celebration Banquet. The evening starts with an activity honouring our loved ones in a gentle ritual where each person’s name is read aloud in the room.

What follows is an evening of great food, connection and deep joy. It is an intentional, vibrant space where we remind ourselves that holding grief doesn’t mean we can’t also hold laughter, community and celebration. Dress up in whatever makes you feel amazing or follow the theme and get ready to create some unforgettable memories.
