A quick thank you from today's backpack packing event at Patagonia Toronto. 💙💛

We didn't get nearly as many photos or videos as we probably should have—and honestly, that's okay.

Today was less about content and more about community.

It was great catching up with familiar faces, meeting new people, sharing conversations, and spending time together while packing backpacks for local students.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to volunteer and to the incredible Patagonia Toronto team for hosting us, donating backpacks, and supporting our mission.

Days like today are a reminder that building community happens one conversation, one volunteer, and one backpack at a time.

💙💛 A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today at Patagonia Toronto to help pack backpacks for local students.

Because of volunteers like you, more young people will head into the school year feeling prepared, confident, and ready to learn.

A special shoutout to the incredible Patagonia Toronto team for hosting us, donating backpacks, and making the day such a success. Thank you as well for the thoughtful gift—your support means a lot.

Students who feel prepared for school are more likely to participate, engage, and build confidence in the classroom.

Something as simple as having a backpack, notebooks, pencils, and other essential supplies can help a student walk into school feeling ready to learn.

That's why we do what we do.

Every school day is a chance to learn something new, make a new friend, discover a new passion, or take one step closer to a goal.

As we kick off a new month, we’re reminded why we do this work. Every backpack, every notebook, and every act of community support helps create opportunities for young people to show up ready to learn and grow.

Small mistake. Big lesson.

We recently ordered postcards for our upcoming backpack events and somehow managed to approve the wrong sizing. The cards arrived much smaller than we intended, and we thought we were stuck with 1,000 postcards that wouldn't work for our needs.

Thankfully, the team VistaPrint took the time to review the issue, helped us understand what happened, and even arranged a replacement so the postcards would look the way they were intended.

Customer service doesn't always get recognized, but this is a great example of a company going above and beyond.

Huge thank you to the VistaPrint team for helping us out and making sure these postcards will be ready for the students we serve.

Students who have the supplies they need are more likely to feel confident and prepared for the school year.

A backpack is more than a bag. It’s a tool that helps students show up ready to learn, grow, and succeed.

That’s why Bags Without Barriers continues to provide backpacks and school supplies to youth across our communities.

A day after dropping off this year’s Fab Five bags, we're still feeling incredibly grateful.

One of the best parts of this year's initiative was connecting with new schools, meeting amazing educators, and even having the opportunity to meet one of our Fab Five recipients and personally deliver her bag.

A huge thank you to all the teachers, principals, guidance staff, and school communities who helped identify and support this year's recipients. The Fab Five wouldn't be possible without your partnership and belief in your students.

As we wrap up year four, we're already looking ahead to year five. We've got some exciting ideas in the works, and we can't wait to continue celebrating outstanding young people as they take their next steps after graduation.
