SNOWSTORM EMERGENCY: BUCK REQUIRES BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS!
We hope that the community will rally for this dear little fellow.
We’ve been asked to help spread the word about Buck, a sweet orange-and-white kitty who wants to live to see his second birthday next month. 🙏
As we’re all snug during this snowstorm, poor Buck is presently hospitalized at the Veterinary Specialty Centre for lifesaving treatment - he DESPERATELY needs testing and blood transfusions. 😿
Buck has a very rare blood clotting disorder called Factor X that was discovered after he was neutered.
Buck had been stable for a while, but has had an emergency episode and has had to be rushed to the VSC. 💔
The VSC is quoting $6000-$10, 000 for the emergency care which is an amount his young owner just does not have.
Buck is very much loved by his dad AND his Nanny. His nanny, who we can tell has the biggest, softest heart you could ever meet, is trying to help with the cost, but she can’t do it all on her own.
Buck’s Nanny is the dearest friend of a supporter of HC’s who has been helping us save lives pretty much from day one. We know that if this supporter is vouching for Buck’s family, they are on the up and up.
If you can afford to do so, please consider making a donation to the vet clinic (which will be open all night) or through their Go Fund Me.
