If you were unable to secure a passport appointment during the Consular Outreach held on May 30–31, 2026, please send an email to [email protected].

We are currently gathering information from individuals who still require passport renewal services. This information will be forwarded to the Embassy of the Philippines in Ottawa to support a possible request for an additional consular outreach visit dedicated to passport renewals.

OVERSEAS VOTING REGISTRATION – NO APPOINTMENT REQUIRED!

The registration for Overseas Voting does not require an appointment. Eligible applicants may simply walk in with the following:

1. Copy of your valid Philippine passport
2. Proof of immigration status in Canada
• Work Permit
• PR Card
• Dual Citizenship Documents

You may register during the Consular Outreach on May 30–31 at the Holiday Inn Conference Center, 180 Portugal Cove Road, St. John's.

Announcement on the Consular Outreach in St. John's

ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE CONSULAR OUTREACH IN ST. JOHN’S, NEWFOUNDLAND 30-31 MAY 2026

We are pleased to announce that the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa will conduct a consular outreach in St. John’s on the following dates:

Date: Saturday 30 May 2026 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Sunday 31 May 2026 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

The consular team will provide passport services, legalization, reports of birth, marriage and death, NBI clearance, information and overseas voter registration for the 2028 National Election.

The Migrant Workers Office - Toronto (MWO) and Social Security System representatives will join the outreach mission. MWO will conduct verification of employment contracts and enrollment/renewal of OWWA membership, and answer inquiries on MWO and OWWA programs and services. SSS will be offering the following services related to retirement, death, funeral, disability, annual confirmation of pensioners, member data change request, pensioner data change request and verification of records.

For those who wish to submit their application for dual citizenship, a drop box will be provided at the venue. They may drop off their application with complete requirements and the corresponding fee in bank draft/postal money order payable to EMBASSY OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES. The documents will be processed in Ottawa after the outreach mission and applicants will be notified at a later date on the status of their application. There is no need to secure an appointment to drop off your documents.

We urge applicants not to bring with them individuals who have no consular business to conduct as the crowd will be tightly managed at the venue. Travel companions may wait outside the venue. Appearance is strictly by appointment only.

The consular team will not be able to process applicants who secured an appointment for the wrong service as each processor is dedicated to a particular consular service and a corresponding set of appointments per hour.

Please note that an approved appointment does not guarantee that your transaction will be completed on the appointed date. Completion of the transaction will depend on presentation of sufficient documentary requirements. Please make sure to bring your complete documentary requirements, sufficient photocopies. The following modes of payment shall be accepted at the Embassy:

Debit card
Bank draft or postal money order, payable to the EMBASSY OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES or EMBASSY OF THE PHILIPPINES (in exact amount)

The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa invites members of the Filipino community in St. John’s and nearby cities in Newfoundland and Labrador to attend a Town Hall Meeting with the Philippine Ambassador to Canada, His Excellency José Victor V. Chan-Gonzaga.

This gathering provides a valuable opportunity for a direct and open dialogue with the Ambassador to discuss community initiatives, raise concerns, and explore ways to further strengthen the Filipino-Canadian community.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

The Philippine Embassy in Canada has released its 2026 Consular Outreach schedule.

For our community in Newfoundland and Labrador, the Outreach Mission in St. John’s is tentatively scheduled for May 30–31, 2026.

Please note that dates are subject to change and will be confirmed once appointment booking details are announced by the Embassy.

The Philippine Embassy in Canada informs the public of the indicative schedule of Consular Outreach Missions and Consular Saturdays in 2026:

April 25: Consular Saturday, Philippine Embassy in Ottawa

May 30-31: St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador
