Announcement on the Consular Outreach in St. John's

ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE CONSULAR OUTREACH IN ST. JOHN’S, NEWFOUNDLAND 30-31 MAY 2026
We are pleased to announce that the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa will conduct a consular outreach in St. John’s on the following dates:
Date: Saturday 30 May 2026 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Sunday 31 May 2026 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
The consular team will provide passport services, legalization, reports of birth, marriage and death, NBI clearance, information and overseas voter registration for the 2028 National Election.
The Migrant Workers Office - Toronto (MWO) and Social Security System representatives will join the outreach mission. MWO will conduct verification of employment contracts and enrollment/renewal of OWWA membership, and answer inquiries on MWO and OWWA programs and services. SSS will be offering the following services related to retirement, death, funeral, disability, annual confirmation of pensioners, member data change request, pensioner data change request and verification of records.
For those who wish to submit their application for dual citizenship, a drop box will be provided at the venue. They may drop off their application with complete requirements and the corresponding fee in bank draft/postal money order payable to EMBASSY OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES. The documents will be processed in Ottawa after the outreach mission and applicants will be notified at a later date on the status of their application. There is no need to secure an appointment to drop off your documents.
We urge applicants not to bring with them individuals who have no consular business to conduct as the crowd will be tightly managed at the venue. Travel companions may wait outside the venue. Appearance is strictly by appointment only.
The consular team will not be able to process applicants who secured an appointment for the wrong service as each processor is dedicated to a particular consular service and a corresponding set of appointments per hour.
Please note that an approved appointment does not guarantee that your transaction will be completed on the appointed date. Completion of the transaction will depend on presentation of sufficient documentary requirements. Please make sure to bring your complete documentary requirements, sufficient photocopies. The following modes of payment shall be accepted at the Embassy:
Debit card
Bank draft or postal money order, payable to the EMBASSY OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES or EMBASSY OF THE PHILIPPINES (in exact amount)
Cash
