🩵 30 DAYS OF TEAL — BUT OUR WORK DOESN’T END HERE. 🩵

As Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month comes to a close, we are simply overwhelmed with gratitude.

Not only for the support we have received this September, but for the support that has carried Belles with Balls NL through the years. What started here at home has grown beyond anything we could have imagined, with our message now reaching far beyond Newfoundland & Labrador.

This month you helped us turn NL teal. You flew our flag, illuminated your homes and buildings, wore our pins and shirts, shared our posts and stories, attended events, donated, volunteered and helped start important conversations.

No gesture is ever too big or too small — and none of it goes unnoticed. 🩵

And through it all, Bonnie remains woven into everything we do. While she is no longer with us in body, we know her spirit continues to guide us, inspire us and remind us why we keep going.

Together, we are helping take ovarian cancer from the disease that has long been called the one that whispers to making sure its voice is heard.

What a beautiful way to bring Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month to a close.

We truly could not have asked for a better day for the Cancer Care Foundation’s Polka Dot Trot — blue skies, sunshine and an incredible turnout of people coming together for one very important cause.

Our Bonnie’s Belles were so proud to take to the trail in teal, carrying Bonnie with us every step of the way while continuing to raise awareness for ovarian cancer. There was something especially meaningful about closing out September surrounded by so much love, community and hope.

A huge congratulations to the Cancer Care Foundation on the success of this year’s fundraiser, and to every incredible person who walked, ran, donated, volunteered, fundraised or cheered from the sidelines. Every person who took part helped contribute to a cause that touches so many lives throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.

And, of course, hats off to the amazing organizers and volunteers whose hard work behind the scenes made such a wonderful day possible. Events like this are a beautiful reminder of just how much can happen when a community comes together.

Thank you to everyone who supported Bonnie’s Belles along the way. We were proud to walk in her honour, proud to wear our teal, and proud to help bring Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month to a close in such a meaningful way.
