Crews were active this last week at two remote transmission line locations on Newfoundland’s Northern Peninsula.

Our Isotrack X mats are helping create safe, stable access in challenging ground conditions, while providing more coverage per load for faster, more efficient transport.

The fall colours don’t hurt either.

Newfoundland Innovation in Action! 🌱

We were proud to have our President, Renita Dominaux, represent EcoAxis at this week's Econext 2026 Conference in St. John's, alongside other industry leaders advancing sustainability and cleantech innovation.

Renita highlighted the diverse work EcoAxis is doing, from helping industries access critical infrastructure in remote locations while protecting sensitive natural environments, to supporting major productions like Netflix's Below and advancing our mobile HDPE recycling initiatives, which have successfully diverted over 1 million pounds of plastic waste.

No matter how diverse our projects, our approach remains the same: keeping environmental responsibility at the forefront of everything we do.

We were also grateful to see EcoAxis recognized by Minister Lin Paddock during his opening address for support through the Green Transition Fund, adding to a proud year that included our CEO's recognition among Canada's Clean50 for 2026.

A sincere thank you to Econext for bringing together so many innovative businesses and giving Renita the opportunity to share our work.

Practical innovation. Real environmental impact. Proudly Newfoundland and Labrador.

We've had quite a few people ask about EcoAxis's involvement in Netflix's *Below*, so here's a little look behind the scenes!

Our work started well before filming and grew to over 60 individual contracts. Far too much to list, but here are some highlights!

We helped source studios and offices, supplied furniture and appliances, and coordinated building inspections, surveying, engineering and air quality testing.

We also constructed the tech vehicle parking area, prepared crew parking and the cast and crew lunchroom site, and supplied tents, flooring, tables and chairs. Other work included over a dozen commercial vehicles, access matting, washroom trailers, fuel tanks, cleaning, welding and personnel.

The marine side was especially cool! We provided the provincial ferry, helped source the research vessel, and worked with marine partners to coordinate vessels you'll actually see in the show, including Noseworthy's boat, Coast Guard craft, barges and floating docks and also the camera platform vessel, all of which provided by 360 Marine. We also provided vessel operators, a diver and marine logistics.

With tight timelines and so many moving parts, having a great team and trusted local subcontractors made all the difference. Far too many to name, but you know who you are. Huge thanks to everyone involved!

We've been fortunate to work on productions including *Peter Pan & Wendy*, *Severance* and *Reacher*, but having Newfoundland play such a big role in this one made it extra special.

Pretty proud of what everyone accomplished. Happy Thanksgiving! 🍁

This week in the field at EcoAxis.

Our crews have been active across multiple project sites in Newfoundland and Labrador, supporting clients with practical access and ground protection solutions where reliability matters most.

At Bull Arm Fabrication Site, crews were installing a crane pad to support heavy equipment operations.

In Milltown, our team continued work on a transmission line access route, helping create safer, more stable access through challenging terrain.

On the Northern Peninsula, crews were also evaluating another transmission line project where proper planning, access, and ground conditions will be key to ensure our clients equipment can reach the remote location to conduct their work scope.

From crane pads to transmission line access routes and remote project evaluations, EcoAxis continues to support the work that keeps critical infrastructure moving.

A new partnership built for growth, with rural NL roots

EcoAxis is pleased to announce a new marketing partnership with Breton Group, who will be supporting our website, digital marketing, and national growth strategy as we continue expanding across Canada.

Beyond marketing, we’ll also be working with their Bretonia platform to strengthen how we manage our sales pipeline, follow opportunities, automate key workflows, improve business intelligence, and build the systems needed to scale EcoAxis to the next level. Bretonia is designed to connect revenue, marketing, operations, and executive oversight into a more coordinated growth engine.

We chose Breton because of their experience, capabilities, and proven track record helping organizations grow through technology, marketing, and business strategy. The fact that Breton Group founder Dave d’Entremont and EcoAxis CEO and co-founder Thomas Green both come from Harbour Breton makes the partnership even more meaningful.

For a small community on Newfoundland’s south coast, it is pretty special to see businesses with the same roots finding ways to work together and grow.

Crews are still busy supporting transmission line projects in remote areas of central Newfoundland.

This week’s work included challenging access through deep bog, wet ground, and stream crossings, the kind of locations where conventional access simply does not work without the right ground protection solution.

EcoAxis Isotrack X mats help create stable temporary access for equipment and crews while reducing ground disturbance in sensitive terrain. These systems are especially useful in waterlogged areas, where load distribution, traction, and proper installation make all the difference.

Did you know? Isotrack X mats use a cellular core design that provides buoyancy in waterlogged areas, helping support access through wet and unstable ground.

Thanks to Three G Services for the support on another project.

Remote access. Ground protection. Practical solutions for difficult terrain.

As summer wraps up and fall conditions move in, reliable site access becomes even more important.

Wet weather, soft ground, and changing site conditions can quickly create delays, equipment issues, and unnecessary ground disturbance. EcoAxis ground protection systems help crews reach remote work areas safely and efficiently while reducing rutting, surface damage, and remediation.

From transmission line corridors to construction sites, remote access roads, equipment pads, and environmentally sensitive areas, we help clients plan ahead and keep projects moving.

Fall access planning starts now.

Rentals, purchases, deployment, and installation available.

Another successful Churchill Park Music Festival in the books.

EcoAxis has been proud to support CPMF every year since its inauguration, helping provide the temporary access and ground protection needed behind the scenes for an event of this scale.

From temporary roads for staging and transport trucks, to wheelchair-accessible pathways, equipment pads, backstage hard surfaces, and site support, our products help keep major events moving safely and efficiently while protecting the ground underneath.

We’re glad to be part of such a well-organized event that continues to bring major artists and large crowds to Newfoundland and Labrador year after year.

From CPMF to the Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Festival, and concerts and events across Canada, EcoAxis has the inventory and experience to support large-scale event access.

Rentals and purchases available.

Another remote worksite solution moving forward in Labrador.

EcoAxis supplied three metal dome buildings for a remote Labrador location, with construction now underway. This project reflects what we do best: practical access, site infrastructure, logistics, and project support for remote work across Newfoundland and Labrador.
