Meet Chop, a 28 lb mix breed who was originally brought up from Mexico. Sadly Chop's owner is no longer with us so he finds himself homeless, looking for someone to love him. He will be 4 years old come October so passed all the silly puppy stuff. He already has all his basic training but does have some seperation anxiety so requires an owner who won't feed into his drama. Chop is now sleeping in his crate at night and learning to be comfortable on his own. He does well with other dogs so would do well in a multi dog household. He hasn't yet been tested with cats but we will update that shortly. Best for a home without small children. He has done well off leash in quiet areas and sticks with you and has even tried paddle boarding successfully. He is neutered, chipped and vaccinated. Young adult male German Shepherd looking for a place to call home. He was not the right fit for a family who rescued him and they are looking to find him a family. He gets along with the dog in the current home, no cats at this time and has some separation anxiety he needs help with. Two sweet older Tibetan Spaniels find themselves seeking adoptive home due to illness in the family. They have lived in a home with a fenced yard their whole life. The bonded pair has all vaccinations up to date, are microchipped, spayed and neutered and had recent dental cleanings. They are healthy. Both are around 7 kilos, the female is 8 ½ yrs old and the male is 9 yrs old. They need a house with a fenced back yard to play/relieve themselves in. They get too excitable on the street and need a fenced yard. They are used to having a companion all the time and my partner is ill so we moved to an apartment and have lots of medical appointments. They don’t like being left alone.
I would ask a modest adoption donation to Tibetan Spaniel rescue in their honor, just to make sure they find a forever home.

Thank you so much to Dr. Sukhiani, Brianna RVT, and the team of Vancouver Island Veterinary Surgery for taking fantastic care of Rey the Labrador today while she had TPLO surgery!
She is settling back home with her amazing fosters Lindsay and Aaron, where she will recover for the next 3 months. This little lady was still running around on a fully torn cruciate as well as a torn meniscus, dogs are such troopers!
We are grateful to Coastal Animal Control in Duncan for calling us to help out this sweet girl.
Your new life has just begun! 🥰
