It’s just an ordinary day at MIND Program.

Behind the scenes, Chef Wilbur is prepping and cooking healthy, homemade meals so our neighbours facing food insecurity can eat with dignity.

No big spotlight. Just steady care, one container at a time.

💙 THANK YOU, BMO! 💙
On June 10th, Team BMO Canada rolled up their sleeves for United Way Greater Toronto's Day of Caring and packed an incredible 1,000 care kits for our MIND Program. 🙌
Each kit is filled with everyday essentials—soap, toothbrush & toothpaste, deodorant, sunscreen, lip balm, a comb, and a handwritten message of hope. ✨
These kits are heading to our community partners supporting neighbours facing poverty: Grace Place Food Bank, CMHA Scarborough / and Oakridge Health & Harm Reduction Hub.

To every BMO volunteer who gave their day—thank you for caring with us. 💙

Behind every great event is a team of people who believe deeply in the mission. Meet the MIND Program Fundraising Committee: Anita Waite, Zandra Pernica, Krupa David (and me of course) 💛

These three women spent months planning, dreaming, and organizing Bloom and Brunch. They reached out to sponsors, coordinated details, and created an experience that celebrated women while raising critical funds for our community.

This is what leadership looks like and what happens when people decide to show up for others.

Zandra, Anita, and Krupa —thank you for your vision, your energy, and your unwavering commitment to MIND Program's mission. We couldn't have done it without you.

Meet the incredible women behind Las Chicas Del Cafe ☕

This women-led coffee company from Nicaragua brought their exceptional coffee to Bloom and Brunch. Every cup served was a connection to their mission and their community.

Las Chicas didn't just donate coffee—they donated their values. They showed up for women. They showed up for community. They showed up for us.

Thank you for fuelling our morning and for reminding us that when women come together, magic happens. 💛

A special thank you to Justin Phillips of Re/Max Hallmark Realty Ltd. for generously sponsoring Bloom and Brunch with a $500 donation. 🏡💙

Justin's support made this event possible. His belief in our mission reminded us that community care extends far beyond real estate—it's about building neighborhoods where everyone belongs.

Carrie Morel created something truly magical for Bloom and Brunch—beautiful garden cupcakes that our guests got to take home as a sweet reminder of the morning.

But these weren't just treats. They were works of art. Each cupcake was crafted with care, wrapped with love, and designed to bring joy.

On May 9th, we gathered 30 incredible guests for Bloom and Brunch—and what a morning it was. 🌸

The energy was electric. The conversation was real. The food was nourishing. And the generosity? Absolutely overwhelming.

For this micro-fundraising event we set out to raise $2,250 for our mission. Together, you helped us raise $5,300. 💛

That's $3,050 more than we imagined. That's hundreds more meals for families in our community facing food insecurity. That's hope.

Thank you for showing up, for believing in MIND Program, and for reminding us why we do this work.
