What a September! 🍂
From serving meals at the Regent Harvest Festival to firing up the grill at the Whitby Community BBQ, Muslim Welfare Canada was out in the community all month.
We also tabled at SMILE Canada's RecFest and ISL Ottawa, and wrapped things up with our Men's Pickleball Tournament 🏓.
Thank you to every volunteer, partner and neighbour who showed up with us.

Growing old shouldn't mean leaving your faith at the door.

Four floors are already up, and you can help complete it by 2027.

Behind many closed doors, there is a family quietly deciding which meal to skip this week.

They are not asking for anything, but your donation can reach them anyway.

Every gift to the MWC food bank goes toward groceries and essentials for families in our community who need them right now.

Donate today through the link below and help a family put a full meal on the table.

True sincerity shows up when nobody's watching.

Not for recognition or audience but just for the sake of Allah alone.

That's the kind of charity Muslim Welfare Canada is built on: helping those in need, without needing anything in return.

ISL came to an end, and MWC was there every step of the way, cheering on and supporting these children.

From the first match to the last, our community showed up for our young athletes.

Thank you to the coaches, volunteers, and families who made this season what it was.

Imam Ibrahim Hindy has a message for every one of us who owes their parents more than we can ever repay.

Our elders gave us everything, now it's our turn to make sure they're cared for with dignity, comfort, and the compassion they deserve.

Join us at MWC Canada's Annual Dinner on October 24 at Capitol Banquet Hall, where every dollar raised goes directly toward our Long-Term Care home for the elderly.
