This week, our team started delivering free mittens, toques and socks to selected schools in . This is our " " to help students keep warm when they lose their mittens at school.

  Through "The warm Hands Project", every winter, our club supplies free winter accessories including mittens, toques and socks to selected schools to help students who lose these much-needed items stay warm during the cold weather.

It is always a good time meeting in person. For the second time since the pandemic, we met physically at our pub night last Thursday.

It was breathtaking to fellowship, share smiles and have great conversations. We are all certainly looking forward to resuming in-person meetings soon.

Today we celebrate our very own president Danny Cassidy
Danny recently scooped the prestigious Scarborough-Guildwood community volunteer appreciation award after being nominated for his exceptional services in the community.

Currently volunteering at the Scarborough Health Network Centenary community and pop-up , Danny has also been a dedicated volunteer with the Hospital's cardio rehab program for the last 8years, since his own cardiac arrest ordeal and bypass surgery 9 years ago.

Danny is on the community advisory council for SHN and was on the CAC for the legacy Rouge. He has also served on committees with the Patient Family Advisor group and has given patient perspective talks to new hires at SHN.

He is currently one of the volunteer leaders at the vaccine clinic among other community services.

Congratulations President Danny on this recognition. We are proud of you.
