Canada needs continued investment in official languages bilingualism.

In our 2026 Pre-Budget Submission, Canadian Parents for French is calling for a renewed commitment toward increasing the rate of bilingualism to 20% by 2036.

Join Canadian Parents for French – Saskatchewan’s bilingual monitors for a summer of virtual “chat” sessions!
🗓The program will run from July 6 to August 21, Monday to Friday at 10:00 and 2:00 pm (a repeating daily program)
🕘Each session will run for approximately 45 minutes.
🔖Students will practice their oral French skills through music, reading, theatre, games, and more!
⭐This program is for Saskatchewan students entering grade 1 to grade 5 with at least one year of French at school.
⭐All session are being provided free of charge.

⭐Attention Saskatchewan grade 12 students!

📚Applications are now being accepted for the Mary Joyce Booth Memorial Scholarships. Up to two scholarships of $1,500 are available for French-Second-Language (FSL) students entering their first year of a post-secondary program in the French language. Students have until June 26, 2026 to submit their application.

Get ready for a sticky and spiky discovery experience with the Canadian Museum of Nature! Tide pools are fascinating coastal habitats teeming with life. What does it take to survive there?

With HD cameras and a microscope, participants will observe tide-pool creatures up close and in real time. Guided by a dynamic science interpreter, kids will explore how these animals eat, move, and survive in this unique environment.

Through stories, challenges, actions, and a fun activity sheet, this interactive program keeps young explorers engaged from start to finish!
