Saskatoon Friendship Inn The Saskatoon Friendship Inn provides breakfast and lunch free of charge 365 days a year đź’š Breakfast 8-9:30 am, lunch is served 11:45-1:30pm.

The Saskatoon Friendship Inn is a community centre that offers breakfast and lunch free of charge. The staff are here to make sure people feel welcome and safe when they come for a meal. The Friendship Inn has no Government funding. We are pleased to say that this places stays open because of all the generous donations of food and money from Saskatoon and the surrounding area. We also depend on a large community of volunteers to help prepare, serve and clean up after meals. We are happy to partner with so many people to do what we do, from donors to volunteers, to other community agencies. Contact us to find out how you can be involved.

Across leadership, administration, fundraising, guest services, programs, operations, and so much more, the women on our team bring compassion, experience, dedication, and heart to the work we do every day.

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and we’re getting ready for a busy season at the Friendship Inn. 🧡

We anticipate serving more than 2,500 Thanksgiving meals on Monday, October 12.

We would love your help with donations from our Thanksgiving Wish List:
đź’š Turkeys
đź’š Celery
đź’š Cheese
đź’š Pies
đź’š Eggs
đź’š Peanut butter & jam
đź’š Sugar, oil & margarine

Financial donations and extra volunteer hands are also always appreciated. Just $5 helps us prepare and serve one meal for a neighbour in need.

Donations can be dropped off daily from 7:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. at 619 20th St. W. No appointment needed.

Happy Friday, Friendship Inn family! đź’› As we head into the weekend, we'd love your help restocking a few essentials that help us serve meals to those in need every day.

We’re currently in need of:

- Coffee
- Cheese
- Bacon
- Cooking oil

If you’re able to help us replenish our supply, donations can be dropped off at 619 20th St. W. Simply ring the doorbell beside the overhead door in the alley adjacent to our parking lot, and a team member will be happy to assist you. No appointment needed!

Today, on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour the Survivors of residential schools, the children who never returned home, their families, and Indigenous communities across Canada. 🧡

We offered a special meal here at the Friendship Inn, along with an opportunity to take part in a smudge.
