Saskatoon Region Early Childhood Intervention Program - ECIP ECIP is a non-profit organization that provides a home visiting program for families of children 0-6 that have developmental delays.

The Saskatoon Region Early Childhood Intervention Program is part of a provincial network of home based support services for families with children from birth to school age, who are at risk for delay or who are delayed in their development. Services are provided by an Early Childhood Consultant. Children who are involved with ECIP are often delayed in reaching age-appropriate, developmental milestones, such as walking, talking, eating, maneuvering, playing, or interacting socially.

- ECIP Consultants provide an important link between families and other professionals.

- ECIP Consultants work collaboratively with child care providers, speech and language pathologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, early childhood psychologists, teachers, and school administrators, among others, to support achievement of family-centered goals.

- ECIP Consultants also support smooth transitions into school and other centre-based programs and services as needed.

🎃 You’re Invited to Trick-or-Treat with ECIP! 👻
We are excited to invite ECIP families to join us for a fun-filled Halloween morning! Come enjoy a welcoming and inclusive experience designed with little ones and their families in mind. We look forward to celebrating with you!
 
You and your little one are invited to join us for “Trick-or-Treating with ECIP”  This event will be held at our SRECIP facility and will provide little ones with the opportunity to trick or treat from office to office (inside, small controlled area and friendly staff) in an environment that is inclusive to all.  You can expect a fun morning at our ECIP office with consultants ready to greet you and your little one.  The event will provide opportunities such as:
• Sensory friendly
• Opportunity to use provided visuals and choice boards
- the use of social stories to read and take home.
- Both edible and non-edible treats
- Not weather dependent (takes place inside)
- Costumes welcome but not required
- Costumes to borrow for the event if wanted/ needed
- Extra activities included for a morning of fun

To us September 30 isn’t the only day that we acknowledge the indigenous people of the land. We continually work with indigenous partners and elders.

SRECIP joins in recognizing and honouring the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30. This day is a time to reflect , to learn and to stand in solidarity with Indigenous communities as we acknowledge the ongoing impact of residential schools and commit to the journey of reconciliation.

Our office will be closed for the day.

We are excited to celebrate ECIP Week on Thursday, September 17th, and would love for you and your family to join us! Families currently accessing our services, on the waitlist, or who have accessed in the past are welcome.

Come on by for free fun including:

Pizza
Cake and treats
Bouncy castle
Face-painting
Sensory play
Balloon animals
Games
A sensory-friendly tent

Date: Thursday, September 17th
Time: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Location: 2302 Hanselman Ave, on the green space behind the building.

We have a free parking lot along Haskamp Street and there is free street parking available along Haskamp Street and Hanselman Avenue.

Pizza and treats provided!

Weather permitting, activities and pizza will be enjoyed outdoors.
