We’re proud to see conversations around disability, neurodivergence and inclusion making space for real experiences, practical support and learning.

🎙️ Disability Shmisability explores non-apparent disabilities, neurodivergence, advocacy, available supports and the everyday experiences of community members while creating a space to learn from one another.

Give it a listen, and see what resonates with you. 💙

Last Friday, we had the pleasure of joining the Central Saskatchewan Military Family Resource Centre for Military Family Appreciation Day: Community Connections. 🩵🩵🩵

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, chatted with us, and took the time to connect. We loved being part of an evening that brought military families, community organizations and local partners together.

And a special thank you to our little helper who kept us company at the booth! 🥰

We’re proud to be a community partner and to support the military families who are part of our community.

🍔☀️ We had a great time stopping by Elmwood Residences’ Community Inclusion Program barbecue today!

It was wonderful to see the community come together and support a great cause. The fundraiser helps support the Community Inclusion Program and the summer activities they offer. 🩵🩵🩵

We were happy to join in, grab a burger, and show our support for the important work Elmwood Residences is doing in the community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today’s barbecue happen, and a special thank you to Braithwaite’s Upholstery Ltd. for sponsoring the fundraiser!

Our team member Brett Williams, Director of Program Service Delivery at LDAS, recently joined Patti Kasper on Living with FASD for a conversation about non-apparent disabilities, neurodivergent diagnoses, diagnostic overshadowing, accommodations, and much more.

The conversation looks at how we can move beyond labels and individual blame and toward better understanding, practical support, and interdependence. 🩵🩵🩵
