Today is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day.🧡
Today we remember the history of residential schools, the survivors, their families, the children who never made it home, and the ongoing impacts that continue today.

We acknowledge that our work reaches lands covered by Treaties 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10, the traditional territories of First Nations, including the Cree, and the Homeland of the Métis.
While September 30 is an important day of reflection and remembrance, reconciliation is not a one-day event. It is an ongoing commitment to listen, learn and take meaningful action.
