A new report commissioned by The Kidney Foundation of Canada reinforces the urgent need for governments to prioritize prevention, early detection, equitable access to care, and stronger kidney health data systems.
The findings build on The Kidney Foundation’s National Strategic Framework for Chronic Kidney Disease, which outlines a path toward a more sustainable, proactive kidney care system in Canada.
Kidney disease is not only a health issue — it is a growing economic challenge affecting patients, families, health systems, and the workforce.
