Two Saskatchewan students will each receive a $2,000 bursary to support their post-secondary education!⁠

The Effie Close and Andrew Jamault Bursaries are available to full-time Saskatchewan students who:⁠
• Graduated Grade 12 in Saskatchewan⁠
• Use a wheelchair⁠
• Are enrolled full-time at a Saskatchewan university or technical school⁠
⁠
If you meet the criteria, we encourage you to apply.⁠
⁠

Our Board of Directors includes volunteers from communities across Saskatchewan who meet throughout the year to review applications for mobility and special needs equipment, medical travel, and other supports.⁠

On Thursday, members of our District 3 team and our TeleMiracle 51 Education Chair attended the Saskatchewan Student Leadership Conference in Nipawin!⁠

It was a great opportunity to connect with students from across the province, share the impact of Kin, and talk about opportunities through Kin Canada Bursaries, the Kinsmen Foundation, and TeleMiracle.⁠

We also enjoyed catching up with some familiar faces and making new connections throughout the day.⁠

At 39 weeks pregnant, the Hodnefields received news no family is prepared for. Wells had a rare genetic condition called MPPH syndrome and they later found a stage 1 tumor. Suddenly, their dreams for their son were clouded by uncertainty.⁠
