The Clean Air Sarnia and Area will have a new website effective June 1, 2026. The new website address is slightly different but you will be redirected once the website becomes live. You can preview the website site by clicking on the link.

We are in the process of planning a launch and learning all about the new and improved site soon. Please watch for our flyer.

Come paint a rock with Keisha at the pavilion behind the band office. She will be here until 4pm. Rocks can be placed by your tree you plant tomorrow (Saturday, May 9th).

Boozhoo Aamjiwnaang!
Please join us Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 10AM to help plant trees along the trail and honour a loved one by placing a painted rock near your tree.

* Lunch provided
* Bring your own re-fillable water bottle
* Bring your own painted rock
* Bring own shovel if you have one

***We will be setting up a table at the pavilion on May 8th, from 1-4 pm to paint your rock. Please bring your own rock, paint will be provided.

I apologize for the delay, its been a pretty busy Monday.

Aamjiwnaang and the Environment Department would like to thank everyone that attended and supported our annual event.

It's a tie!! Congrats to Team 1 and 14 winning the garbage collection with a total of 20 bags!!

Congrats to Team 5 winning the recycling collection with a total of 9 bags!!

All teams did amazing. Miigwech!!

Earth Day Clean-up Celebration is this weekend (Saturday, April 18). Please see updated flyer and agenda!! We are still looking for some volunteers (students, if you need any hours, this is perfect event to gain some hours, please arrive at 9AM). The door will open for team registration at 9:45 am. The clean-up is a contest, all teams will start at 10:30am and come back to the Centre for 12pm.

From the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks:

Span checks will be performed today on the AFN Sportscenter benzene analyzer, followed by the Wilson Plain Sr. analyzer. Each monitor will be temporarily offline (approximately 2 hours) while the span checks take place. Monitoring and reporting to CASA will resume once the respective span checks are complete.

We have posted Monitor Status messages on the CASA websites.
