Circles Lambton

Circles Lambton Circles Canada inspires and equips communities to end poverty. Through Circles, people find reasons, relationships, and the resources to thrive! It is intense.

THIS is the strategy that works to help people get out of poverty. It takes three years (at least!). And it takes the help of many middle class people to wrap support around those who want a better life but don't have the relationships, resources or reasons to thrive. Here is the official blurb:
The Canadian Circles® Campaign is a hands-on community strategy that helps hard working people transiti

on out of poverty. To succeed, people need support, direction, education, financial skills, job training and most importantly, hope. The Circles® Campaign promotes the vision to end poverty in communities by:
• Building intentional relationships across class lines;
• Identifying barriers that keep people in poverty;
• Implementing innovative solutions;
• Creating effective partnerships to help families;
• Changing the goals of the system to support families and economic change. Everyone needs enough relationships, resources and reasons to thrive! For more information, please contact us!

“Such an honour to receive this award from Doug Ball, Executive Director of OMSSA (Ontario Municipal Social Service Association) for my work with Lambton Circles as I wrap up my 25 year career.” You will be missed by many Mary Lou❤️❤️❤️

Well, it was 15 years ago Gayle and Mary Lou started out on a journey to bring Circles to Canada with the hope it would change lives- it certainly did. They worked hard to change and challenge the systems for our most vulnerable in the community- and they accomplished that goal. ❤️ The County of Lambton supported this change and allowed a small team to do things a bit different in order to walk alongside our families working hard to create a safe and stable future for their families- creating “hope” . We are proud of each and every Circle family that have done great things. Thank you County of Lambton for supporting this journey, thank you to all the great leaders that have worked so hard, thank you to the many volunteers and allies that have faithfully been there since the beginning. Thank you Gayle (we carry your torch) Thank you to all the municipalities and other Circles Chapters across Ontario that made a big difference in your own community- London, Oxford County, Muskoka, Timiskiming, Cornwall, Wellington County, Simcoe County, St. Thomas and Kingston ❤️❤️❤️A caring community can do amazing things when we all work together❤️ I am proud to have been on this journey with many great individuals over the years and proud of all our graduates - Dream Big❤️❤️❤️
