So, foreigners can't donate to the US election campaign, but we can support a company that helps people vote!

"No, Canadians can't donate to US elections, BUT we CAN donate to great causes like https://www.spreadthevote.org that put proper ID into the hands of those that need it, enabling them to be able to vote, open a bank account, apply for an apartment, stay in a shelter, apply for assistance if needed, get a drivers license, get healthcare, apply for help from a food bank, even apply for a job. Just think of everything we do every day that requires proper ID and what would happen if we didn't have the funds or means to get it.
They also help to get people to the polls to vote, and are the only national program that helps currently incarcerated citizens vote from jail ****meaning those currently incarcerated but who are eligible to vote, like those incarcerated pre-trial who can’t afford bond, or those who were convicted of misdemeanors.
They do great work!
11% of American adults do not have photo ID. Without them they cannot get jobs, housing, benefits, and so much more. Every day across the country we help people get the IDs they need for life.
