Salmon Arm Arts Centre Art Gallery and Arts Centre in downtown Salmon Arm, operated by Shuswap District Arts Council. The beautiful gallery is known throughout Western Canada.

Salmon Arm Arts Centre is a heritage brick building in downtown Salmon Arm. Built in 1937 as Salmon Arm's first post office, it has been a public library, and since 1994, the Arts Centre. With its Palladian windows and original maple hardwood floors, we enjoy a stunning atmosphere with which to hold exhibitions and community events.

A change of plans, with a little more art!

We’ve been listening, and we’re excited to share some news!

We’ve heard how much our community has been enjoying Where in the World Are We?, and we’ve decided to give everyone a little more time to experience it!

Our exhibition will now be extended until Saturday, November 28, rather than closing November 14th. We’ll also be opening our doors until the end of the Santa Parade on November 28th, so be sure to stop in while you’re downtown!

While this means a change to our original Winter Bazaar plans, we’re looking forward to making more room for art, creativity and community connection this season.

If you’ve reached out about becoming a Winter Bazaar vendor, our team will be in touch with you directly regarding next steps.

Thank you for your continued support and for making our gallery such a wonderful place to be. We can’t wait to welcome you in for a few more weeks of Where in the World Are We?

Location: Salmon Arm Art Gallery, 70 Hudson Ave NE

Date: Exhibition now runs until Saturday November 28th

Time: Tuesday - Saturday, 11 AM–4 PM

See you at the gallery!

There’s more than one story behind a piece of art.
This piece is a great example of how a community project can come together through many different hands and ideas. One person may have the initial idea, another brings the design to life, and others contribute their time and skills to help create the finished piece.

In this video, a community member shares her experience working on this piece and gives us a glimpse into some of the people and process behind it.

It’s these layers of collaboration that make Where in the World Are We? such a community project. 🌎

See the exhibition at the Salmon Arm Arts Centre until November 14.

Some pieces have a story that goes back long before an exhibition begins✨

This quilt was created by the Shuswap Quilters Guild in 2000, and it has a history of its own within the local community.

In this video, a member of the Guild introduces the piece and shares some of the history and context behind it, giving us a glimpse into where it came from and the people connected to it.

It’s one of the many stories woven through Where in the World Are We? 🌎

Come see the exhibition at the Salmon Arm Arts Centre until November 14.
