π What a week for the BC Chamber network!
From start to finish, the BC Chamber of Commerce Conference was informative, engaging, and full of meaningful conversations. Chamber leaders and partners from across the province came together to review, debate, amend, and vote on policy resolutions that help shape advocacy efforts for businesses and communities throughout British Columbia. We also heard from incredible speakers and panelists, welcomed a new Board of Directors, and learned more about the organization's strategic direction for the years ahead.
Immediately following the conference, the Chamber of Commerce Executives of BC Conference brought together Chamber professionals from every corner of the province. Once again, I was reminded just how supportive, creative, collaborative, and knowledgeable the Chamber network truly is. The presentations, roundtable discussions, and conversations between colleagues were packed with timely insights, practical ideas, and inspiration that Iβm excited to bring back to our community.
I was also honoured to receive a three-year service pin recognizing my years of service within the Chamber network. It was a meaningful reminder of how rewarding it is to be part of an organization dedicated to supporting businesses and strengthening communities.
To top off an already incredible week, I was honoured to be elected to the Chamber of Commerce Executives of BC Board of Directors. I am grateful for the confidence of my peers and look forward to contributing to the continued success of our Chamber leaders across British Columbia.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the week such a success. The connections, conversations, and ideas shared will continue to have an impact long after the conference has ended.
Now it's time to bring those ideas home to Salmon Arm. π
