✨ Festival Artist Highlight ✨

If don't know their music already, allow us to introduce you to Amani Burnham

Alongside soulful vocals and introspective songwriting reflecting on his Ethiopian roots, Connecticut based Amani Burnham crackles with groovy blues-rock riffs, cosmic solos, and stinging vibrato. His remarkable guitar work, characterized by the unique use of his thumb, oozes with raw emotion that resonates throughout his passionate singing and evocative songwriting. Burnham draws on the pure power of the classic blues trio—just guitar, bass, and drums.
Joined on his live shows by bassist Garret Lutzo and drummer Henry Maass, Amani’s stripped-down and dynamic playing hits with clarity and force, delivering a sound that’s both intimate and thunderous. The passion in his performance is unmistakable.

Festival Artist Highlight - Yagody

Each moment in a person’s life has its own song – says Zoryana Dybovska, who founded Yagody in 2016 in the West Ukrainian city of Lviv. Travelling through different regions of Ukraine to explore the musical traditions of the people there, Yagody create their own exciting sound mix, supported by musicians on drums, guitar, accordion or the drymba, a mouth harp of the Hutsul people from the Carpathians.

Yagody’ which means ‘berries’, repertoire consists of poetic songs from Ukraine, building a very diverse and energetic world of melodies, rhythms and themes, which they blend uniquely to captivate audiences. Undoubtedly one of the most charismatic Ukrainian folk bands!
