Happy in my Home, CSSN is a volunteer based not-for-profit agency providing community support services to help older adults. This page is NOT monitored 24/7

Want to have more meaning in your life? Do you want to do something that is satisfying and of great service to your community? If so, VOLUNTEER today with CSSN. Our clients need you. Meals on Wheels - drivers and assistants - flexible schedule and mileage reimbursement. Lunch Out - drivers, event assistants & office assistants - various locations and times - get a free lunch and have fun with our clients! Transportation - to medical appointments or shopping - flexible schedule and mileage reimbursement. Friendly Visiting - approx. one hour once a week - we have lots of lonely clients on our wait list. Phone Chat - once a week or more if you wish. Provides a security checks for our clients. Office Volunteer - always lots to do - flexible schedule.

One of our staff members recently volunteered at Delta Bingo Sponsors Association of St. Catharines!

Through Charitable Gaming. Community Good. , funds raised help Happy in my Home continue providing programs and services to older adults and adults with disabilities in our community.

Got something at home that needs fixing? Don't throw it away just yet!

The Rotary Club of Grimsby and Grimsby Public Library are hosting a FREE Repair Café on Saturday, November 7th!

Bring in small appliances, furniture, jewellery, or tools that need a little attention. Volunteers will be on hand to help with repairs and share some useful skills along the way.

Happy Community Support Month! It's Adult Day Program Week 💙

At Happy in my Home, our Wellness & Supportive Living Program offers recreational activities and food-based programs at select sites, giving clients opportunities to socialize, stay active and enjoy time together.

Purchase a Tote Bag. Provide a Meal!

We're excited to share that LCBO and Meals on Wheels Ontario have partnered to support Meals on Wheels programs across the province, including programs like ours at Happy in My Home!

Through our Meals on Wheels program, we help older adults and adults with disabilities access nutritious meals while supporting their independence at home.

This fall, you can support this important work by purchasing a reusable tote bag at participating LCBO stores or online at LCBO.com.

100% of proceeds will be donated to Meals on Wheels Ontario to help provide meals to individuals across the province.

Every purchase helps support programs that make a difference in our communities!💙

October 15th is Falls Prevention and Exercise Day 💙

Did you know that we offer a FREE Safety at Home program to help older adults and adults with disabilities reduce their risk of slips, trips and falls?

Our trained, Fall Prevention certified team members provide home safety assessments to identify potential hazards, such as poor lighting, loose rugs and clutter, and recommend changes to make homes safer.

Our goal is to help clients maintain their independence and continue living safely and confidently in their own homes.

Another big thank you to Hometown Pet Market Beamsville for their generous support this Thanksgiving! 💙🐾

Along with sponsoring our Thanksgiving Frozen Meals on Wheels, Hometown Pet Market hosted a fundraising and matching campaign to help provide holiday meals to our clients.

Thanks to their generosity and the support of their customers, older adults in our community were able to enjoy a special Thanksgiving meal delivered right to their doors.
