Thanks to all who came to pay our respects to those who have served at today’s Remembrance Day commemoration for Saanich. Special thanks to those who created and laid our Wreath alongside the many others.

Tree, Firewood, Kindling and Christmas Wreaths along with other Christmas specialties are on sale this weekend and next weekend - December 7- 8. Please come by the Sanctuary Wood Tree farm at 5181 Santa Clara, Saanich from 9:30am to 3:30pm. You can cut your own, pick one for our Scouts and Cubs to cut or choose from the pre-cut trees.

The farm has an amazing holiday ambiance thanks to Scouter Barb and our leaders, Venturers, Scouts and Cubs.

Some sad news for the 5th Tsartlip Scout Group community. Longtime Scouter, tireless supporter and constant friend of 5th Tsartlip, Dr Brian Carr-Harris (Scouter B) has passed away this past week.

A service will be held this Saturday November 2nd starting at 1pm , St Michael and All Angels church, 4733 West Saanich Road, and the celebration of his life will be held immediately following the service at Sanctuary Wood Farm , 5181 Santa Clara ave. 2:30pm till whenever the stories are all told around the campfire.

Please come prepared with your favorite story (and there are many) and have the story written out so that a book can be made . Come dressed for the weather, bring something to sit on and park on Santa Clara ave or the surrounding streets.

Please select the experience that will fill your heart with attending one or both events.
